My pet died today and I'm feeling pretty down about it. Was thinking about smoking but I don't know if it's a good idea. Going into it with a depressed mindset could lead to a negative experience. On the other hand, it could be positive and lift my spirits. You just never really know with this stuff. Does anyone here have any experience with DMT or other psychedelic during grief?

She was an awesome cat.

I have taken of the spice and been inundated by joy in the darkest of times I have take of the spice on a common day and faced terrors the normative mind could not fathom. It is a role of the dice my friend, in many ways the current mindset would play no part in the results of your experience but those dreaded underlying tones of things you do not see in your current state will take hold and lead you.

My father had a stroke and I was extremely frightened and sad. I smoked some spice asking for guidance during these troubling times as my intention. It didn't ease the sadness, but it showed me that everything was as it should be, and that I should just accept it.

So I guess it was helpful for me, but if you are incredibly sad about it, as most are when a pet passes away, it may be best to wait a couple of days before going to hyperspace, just in case.

However, if YOU feel that it would be beneficial for you now to do so, then go for it. I'm not you, so could never know what your inner guidance says, and especially when dealing with spice, thats the best voice to listen to about it.

Hope this helps a little bit. And I'm very sorry at the loss of your loved pet, I know how that goes...pretty bad stuff. Sad

The answer to life is not 42, It is 37. The flawed 42 was derived from a mistake in calculating the quantum flux of a tenth dimensional hyperspacial wormhole. For proof of my math, please follow me in a nice chaotic line to the fifth dimension for a practical dissemination of the results.

Thanks guys. Good advice.

I was just thinking about how nice it would be to get support from some loving entities. Is it selfish of me to want that? I mean, I get support from personal friends and family and from you guys, but still. I guess it doesn't necessarily work that way though. I get the impression they are not interested in earthly matters (maybe some are??).

Some people have definitely gotten spiritual guidance and or connected with their personal guides(whether it be just in the hyper space or spirit guides depending on your belief system...not trying to step on anyones toes here) through their use of spice.

I've experienced loving entities and hatefilled ones as well. Most of the time the darker ones appeared when I was misusing the spice. I don't feel this would be the case for you if you've integrated well from your last experience, and you continue to feel a strong desire to go to hyperspace.

Also when going there, make it your intent before hand to contact a loving or caring guide/entity. It may not work, but it always helps to set a clear intention before venturing in to hyperspace.

Hope this helps. Always refer to your judgement over mine or anyone else's though. "You are you, this is truer than true, no one else could be youer than you."'-Dr. Seuss no one else can ever know what you know about your current, set, setting, and likelihood of negative events occurring.

Definitely keep us all updated on what you decide and how it turns out.

I'm very sorry to hear about your cat. Losing a loved one is always pretty tough. I am sorry.

When I feel the call to hyperspace I go regardless of my mood. Sound like you may be having the call.

I would go and proclaim your love! Rejoice!

I've read almost all of your posts while lurking here on the forum Ice House. You're somewhat of a role model to me. Been waiting for an opportunity to tell you that for like a year now... Smile Thanks for all the greatness.

As said by vovin, this is very much a dice-rolling game we have here. Expecting to have a result of your choosing, whether this is love and oneness or annihilation and terror is unlikely to give reliable results.

For me I find that exploring when things are at their very worst is tremendously useful, but this is a personal point of view. I think though if you feel the pull and feel strong enough to deal with the potential consequences of tearing a big hole in your reality, go for it. You will find out quickly enough whether journeying in adverse circumstances is something that’s right for you.

I rolled the dice and I'm happy to report it went well. I won't go into too much detail, but I will say it had a "party" or "celebration" vibe to it and there was something that I can best describe as an intestinal disco ball...that was alive. Oh and toward the end I was presented with a view of astronomy that would make NASA jealous.

My old coonhound was hit by a car a few weeks ago and it is still a little difficult... I took jurema a few days afterwards and thought about my dog... I guess it did help, just taking me through joyous times with my dog.

My wife and I both had very strong dreams concerning our dog, and it was through the dream-world that I got closure about his death. I used Synaptoleptis kirkii and was given a chance to pet my good old dog one last time and it was really wonderful - he came to me in both dog and human form simultaneously... I think dreams as opposed to hyperspace really helped me... I recommend paying attention to them.

Sorry about your cat. It's really such a hard thing to lose a pet, that is their evolutionary advantage I suppose. Glad you had a good experience.

I was told just recently in plain english during a trip that this guy is trying to kill me, and that he's crazy. Not really sure how to take any of this lol if I should at all, most likely it was my subconscious. But who knows.

^^^^

well that's something that ayahuasca and really lots of psychedelics have been used for... I wouldn't go paranoid over it, but I would not disregard it either.
