Misinformation like this is why my parents hated me as a kid. They believed what was fed to them. I was obviously going to be a cult leader and murder innocents by the thousands because of weekly lsd trips. Even now decades later, my one kid has a food allergy and the other has very minor dyslexia... I've been told by my parents that this is obviously caused by "chromosome damage" On another note, I know some local drug cops in rural nowhere. They recently mentioned getting trained in how to identify a new high called "spice" Apparently it is everywhere and becoming a major problem. Just word to the herd. Most of the time when these small town cops are talking about "spice" they mean the K2 type herbs sold at head shops and smoke shops. At least in my experience this has been. And I've been involved in making my own herb spice since about a year ago, got arrested this last summer for cannabis, but the cops also seized several lbs of damiana, organic catnip, marsmallow leaf, and a couple of other herbs I had. In the police report it stated I was probably attempting to produce smoking "spices" to sell in addition to marijuana. That got dropped by the DA however fortunately. yeah. absolutely ridiculous. I'm so glad the comments are all people calling whoever wrote this on her shit. She clearly did no research beyond talking to local law enforcement, who quite obviously has no idea what DMT actually is or does. And at the end of the article it says that they don't even know if the guy was using DMT.

news in general now suffers from standards that consistently slide lower and lower, fact checking used to actually happen, research happened and the source "a friend of the man" would have to be identified unless there was good reason not to. oh well.
