Ok the summer is coming up and like everyone i need a job. I was wondering if anyone knew of odd jobs that people wouldn't think of doing but pays. Now a little about me so you can help me the best.

I am the best at listening and following. Don't know why other people cant do that in jobs and still have the job but that's beside the point. I Hate Hate the idea of fast food or anything with preparing food. I am a little of a perfectionist and like to make sure what i am doing is what i was told to do to the teeth. I am also a little "out of shape" when it comes to heavy lifting and hard labor.

I have googled odd jobs but i don't like it cause one: other people can see the same results and websites two: they always seem stupid and don't seem to be cost effective in this market.

One last thing i have never worked a taxable job before and don't have any previous work experience in the "work force". But i have reffed soccer and have done hard labor(setting up soccer fields, lining them, etc.) Also looking for a job that isn't taxable(preferred for maximum pay out) but not necessary at all.

Don't think a suggestion is to lame or stupid or something i would not do. I would like to think this would help other people who feel the way i do about a "job".

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I've never been too good at this topic myself, the only thing I can think of is maybe checking WWOOF for a paid internship at a local farm or the like. Resources: http://www.wwoof.org/ and there's a subforum for finding and listing work on this forum: http://www.permies.com/forums

If you live near a major city tons of non-profits pick up around this season. I've actually looked into it this season, and have an interview set up for canvassing which is basically walking around city-centers and door to door, basically looking for donations. It's not my type of work because I dread using "rhetoric" or asking for money in general, but when times are tough, sometimes one has to make choices. They start fairly good pay ($10-12 per hour) for requiring no prior experience, and solid benefits for full-time employment. And, if you don't like interacting with people, you can even view it as a self development project (which is what I think I'll do if I end up doing this job).

Another easy summer job is life-guard (easy, cheap certification). Though the most lucrative jobs with minimal requirements seem to be labor, and it's easy to pick up knowledge and advance if you soak up all you can. Might be tough starting if you're out of shape, but I've known plenty of people who are far from athletes that are in construction, there's plenty of 'finesse' jobs once you pick up a skill in it.
The only hell for a warrior is peace.

The warm fuzzy side of the cold hard truth.

Loads of neat jobs, some small stuff and you bid on what price you will do the work for.
Perhaps I am asking the wrong questions but it doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
