I found this disturbing news article from my area that employs fear mongering and straight up lies. It disturbed me, especially being near me that this is the information people are getting. DMT doesn't cause murder...

Usually reading the comments on news stories makes me lose faith in humanity. The ones on dmt stories however are usually pretty good, and there are some good comments on this one.

The article is ridiculous though.

Although it is terrible they can just lie to the public about this, it's not really a surprise. This is done with nearly all drugs, making false claims of effects and exaggerating the dangers, yet they are allowed to advertise alcohol and declare it as a beverage instead of a drug

this is hilarious,the psychadelic dmt can cause users shortness of breath even die actually i thought i died a couple times. but seriously how many ppl have died from dmt, um 0, .the highs 35-40 min yeh right.. It is sad there talking about it likes its pcp or something, get someone that actually knows something about it to talk, not this dumb dea shithead. God this world is messed up

Fortunately all the commenters in that article were the smart ones. Unfortunately, the people who are completely sucked into their TV and devoid of open-mindedness will be fooled. It's really a bummer.

The u.s. is waking up to how harmless and useful cannabis is, I would be confident saying that dmt is even safer.

Some kid in my area beat his dad to death with a baseball bat a couple weeks ago.
The news seized on the kids' use of K2 and "spice". His accomplice was shown at the arrangement freaking out crying over and over that he wasn't guilty.
While I'm not familiar with those two items , I have seen them in local stores.
You can bet his defense will claim he wasn't responsible because of the evil drugs.
The media was all over the availablity of these "dangerous" drugs and ran show after show w/local politicians demonizing them. Without much effort it is easy to find that these politicos have big campaign backing by area alcohol and tobacco companies.
Alcohol is THE most dangerous drug and is responsible for many more murders and other crimes than any bag of headshop crap.

What is completely wrong is that at the bottom of the report, no DMT was found to be in the accused's system, so basically this is just an excuse to make an anti dmt video when in fact nothing is proven.
Sounds like the usual reporters tricks. I wonder if alcohol or violent video games were also found to be in his posession???

Snorted??? I know several of us have tried this out of curiosity but it's really not the way to go unless you enjoy extreme nasal/facial pain during your experience

I gave up on seriously caring about these type of stories a long time ago, no matter whether its related to cannabis, dmt, or any drug, its all either riddled with nothing but lies and fear mongering, or by some pro group only giving the idealized THIS IS THE MOST PERFECT THING EVER type extreme.

Which is why I like things here, sound, reasonable advice recognizing the positives and negatives, now if we could just somehow take over every news station and install only Nexus members.....
