Hello. I first want to express my appreciation for the creation of this site. I have viewed this forum and others many times when I needed information that ended up keeping me safer and making my experiences available but was reluctant to register as a member because I did not want to be party to the sensationalizing of psychedelic drugs particularly dmt. After reading the (forgot what the site called it) list of ideals that this forum asks its users to uphold in its conversations I felt like registering. The knowledge base I have accessed in the past would not be here if not for the people brave enough to create it and I need to take my place as one of them because I feel like its the right thing to do. I have strong disagreements with the way our governments, mainstream and counterculture see the use of this class of chemicals (among so many other topics) but my convictions themselves continue to form quietly by observation and it is not my intention to debate them by joining this forum. I feel like given the intention of this site and the way I have witnessed people carrying that out in their conversation that my joining will help communicate a clearer picture of why someone would use dmt to anyone who visits this site without already having that answer. More for myself, I stand to learn as I already have but it will be helpful to be able to ask the specific question I have if I cannot find it on an existing forum. Thanks again to the individuals who created and sustain this site. I dont know anyone else personally who shares the particular interest that those on this forum do and it feels nice to take the first step and become involved in that community.

So whats your experience with psychedelics? Do you like to vap dmt only or also oral?

Endlessness, your posts are partly responsible for inspiring me to join the nexus along with a few others that seem to help set the conversational tone and standard for accurate information here. I'm very happy to get a reply from you and particularly one of your questions is pretty pertinent at the moment.

My experience with psychedelics..... Im grateful for it first of all. About twelve years ago I was using some drugs harmful and a good friend introduced me to mushrooms. I was astounded. First confused and scared but the trip at one point opened my heart and gave me a glimpse of a higher consciousness and state of being that helped me become more connected and aware in my relationships with others and myself.

Since then I have developed a relationship with a few different psychedelics but until a year ago was probably most experienced with mescaline both in (peyote and extracted) and mushrooms. I have used a variety of rc's but I don't have the same mystical connection with them although they were nearly all quite an experience as well. they were profound, just not quite the same in a way that I coudn't put my finger on for some time. I have only two experiences with lsd of verified (by gcms) purity. Great experiences. Not a real big fan of MDMA but I have had a great deal of lasting success working with personal issues when I have used it for that purpose strictly.

I vaped dmt for the first time about ten years ago and broke through on the first time. I wasn't ready for it as far as being able to bring anything back from the experience. I used it again about a year ago and had the most powerful spiritual experience in my waking life. I spontaneously wept tears of joy for days upon recalling it. my friend who gave me the experience treats the substance with respect and knows he isnt ready. I think his doing threshold doses has scared him more than he should be. I have several other friends in that circle who are on this path but none to relate experiences with yet with dmt.

after my recent experience and its gravity the next step was obvious- get some mhrb and perform an extraction. It went off without a hitch and I think that looking at the process as dealing with something living helped render a very pure 5ish grams. It was Nomans tek which Im pretty sure is stb. if not I followed Nomans as a stb extract. This was about 8 months ago and since then I have used all but a gram of material and have had a variety of experiences with varying doses all vaped.

now your pertinent question "also oral?"

A couple of days ago I experienced my second failed attempt at using dmt orally with banisteriopsis colorada as the inhibitor. I outlined my method of preperation and any particulars of the experience in a topic I started in the open topics section of the Nexus forums under the title of something like "second failed attempt at caapi + freebase dmt".

I have read some of your posts when trying to zero in on my problem before I made my own topic. I am not experienced with harmalas and members brought the relevance of that fact to my attention and I am planning on proceeding from there. I would greatly appreciate any input you have. If you have them time, my topic is still open and if upon reading the post detailing my efforts anything stands out to you please let me know.
