So... I've never done an introduction like this before so here goes!

I'm a new member here but I've been lurking for about 3 years. I finally decided to make a post yesterday ( https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=32196 ) regarding the only two bad experiences I've ever had on dmt and Guyomech gave me the idea to write an introductory essay since I'm new and have had over 100 experiences. So I figured, why not.

I was first introduced to dmt by one of my friends one night, it was a full moon and he offered me and a couple of my friends to try it. So we went to this little field by my house which we had always called the field of dreams since before we had ever even heard of dmt. We sat on a blanket inside of a salt circle and we had candles, nag champa insense, and a sage smudge going. He also had a tibetan singing bowl, but I decided I didnt want him to play it when I did it since I didn't know what to expect. When it came down to doing it, he had to talk me into it and explain how zen it was and how everyone he's had do it came out with a smile since the only other hallucinogen I had ever done at that time was salvia. Scary as fuck needless to say. ( now I have done lsd and mushrooms a handful of times and dying to try peyote)

So I decided to go for it and when I felt ready, I took 3 big hits. Before I did it, all I could hear was the creek trickling faintly. After the 3rd hit, the creek got really loud really fast and 4 other sounds came into play and got louder, like different versions of white noise. I looked up at the moon and it was vibrating and flashing colors. I looked down at the grass and it was also vibrating and flashing colors. Mostly red and yellow, but there was also green and blue. I closed my eyes and there were complex patterns everywhere and constantly changing. It was the greatest feeling in the world, nothing else mattered. As if this was the way and that's all I needed to know.

Although I have done dmt over 100 times, I have to admit, I've never broken through. My first 6 times was with the guy that introduced it to me and he pre loaded the bowl for me every time. Then a year later when I finally got to make it, I did a stb tek with no freeze precipitation and no re crystallization so it yielded a lot of brown and orange waxy goop. (since then, I've always done an a/b tek with freeze precipitation and yielded snow) I loaded fat bowls and went hard on it but the most intense trip I ever got off of it was one time when there were colorful patterns all over the ground and the trees were shape-shifting really fast. Until I had the experience I explained in my last post. That scared the hell out of me and ever since then, I've been very weary about going hard on it. Every time I'm about to do it I get really bad anxiety, my heart races and on some occasions I shiver when I'm not cold. I can set the pipe down and wait until I'm relaxed but as soon as I reach for the pipe, there goes my heart rate like a switch was flipped. I always come back wishing I had done more and I would do more if it weren't for those two bad experiences (and a couple other really light trips that I could feel they would have been bad had I done more).

Anyway, that's a lot to read so I think I'm gonna end it there. Thanks to anyone that took the time to read the whole thing! haha

One more thing before I go... Does anyone hate doing dmt at night or in the dark? It makes more sense to do it in the dark so the visuals will be less based on whats around you, but it's always felt at least slightly negative somehow. Not to mention both of my bad trips were at night.

Oops, I didn't realize there was a separate place for introductions. Mods feel free to move this!
