Hey all! I'm just curious and was a bit scared, but I want to know what you think about what I have to say.

I started ingesting DMT in various ways (FB, home-brewed ayahuasca, and changa) about a year ago and until tonight was on an approximate 2-3 month break for integration. Since then I have taken up running and weight lifting and just generally taking more care of my self and being more mindful of my existence.

I was under the impression that the requirement for the aya diet is trivial(containing RIMA's as opposed to MAOI's), but not at all was I concerned about the diet for tonights changa adventure that was cut short.

After having a burrito with a friend from taco bell at 9pm, I proceeded to drop off my friend at work for 930. Got home at 10. Cleaned room so now 10:20, and meditated on my nice clean bed for another 20 minutes. I am now 1hr 40 minutes from my ingestion of the foods, so said burrito is now in my bloodstream. Not having any previous interactions with foods of that sort from my previous endeavors, I took the plunge.

Inhaling slowly I vaporize the changa thoroughly. Not great effects, but was expected (I already took a hit from this particular pile of changa months before). With a reloaded pipe ready to go, I feel my body with the bit of changa in me and I'm fine. Things are normal for me, nothing alarming, so I proceed to vape this bowl of changa out of my regular herb piece. As I'm hitting it up I noticed as the intensity of the experience increased my sweat production increased. I became really hot and was beginning to worry about the terrible MAOI interactions. I'm sweating telling my universe as much as I would love to become one with it, I still have things to do in this life.

Now as quick as this sweating came on (throughout the course of my single final hit, so 10-20 seconds to maximum intensity) it had stopped. Now this did happen over the course of 5-10 minutes. When the sweating ceased, so had my trip. It was like I was dropped more rapidly than straight FB would drop me from the experience.

I don't remember ratios, but changa was made with 20x caapi leaf extract, mullein, and FB DMT. Completely dry (been a few months since i had made it), so no alcohol remnants left.

At this point I will take praise in that my body is still housing my soul. Next time I will follow the diet just to be sure, but for an hour long changa experience I'd prefer to not have to (I guess it's the work in the preparation that makes these things worthwhile Very happy)

Has anyone here experienced anything of this sort from smoking beta-carbolines? Honestly, to me, it felt like my body was in shock. If I am correct with my senses (still learning this body and how it works after 20 years) it felt as if I had an extreme blood pressure drop, which is feasible in my mind considering that's what harmalas are known to do.

Long story short, changa made me feel as if I had put my body through physical shock. I was extremely hot and sweaty and I prayed to hold on. Has anyone else experienced this or has any input?

I don't think it was a negative interaction between the taco and the MAOI component of the changa that was raising your temperature and making you sweat. That's a rather natural reaction to a strong DMT experience (the MAOI making it that much stronger). On the other hand, you probably shouldn't be eating tacobell before taking any psychedelics regardless of MAOI content.
