So i am a 30 year old male from The Netherlands.

In real life i am a well accomplished software developer and consultant. For hobbies i am a producer and DJ of psychedelic trance. I like to go on long hikes in our scarce nature.

I have been interested in DMT for about 4 years now i think. I have never put a lot of effort into finding DMT as i was convinced by many people it had to find me. So after spending years on reading on erowid and its experience vault, watching documentaries about or involving DMT i finally decided that i felt i knew so much about it that i am well able to extract my own DMT.

So a while back i ordered some powdered MHRB and this weekend i will try to make my first 3 pulls using Q21Q21's Vinegar/Lime A/B Extraction Tek (Tek 2) found on the wiki of this site. Meanwhile i am mentally preparing my first trip.

Apart from DMT i have a fair amount of experience with psychedelics and other drugs. MJ has been a friend for about 10 years (never been a daily or even weekly smoker though). I have tried mushrooms 4 times and i have done salvia more than 10 times and i had MDMA once.

I will keep you informed about the results of my extraction and of course about my first experience.

There seems to be some sort of trend between the Dutch all being software designers/IT geniuses. I can only imagine the education disparity between there and the US.

Anyhow, welcome to the Nexus! Looking forward to reading how your first experience is. This is a great place to learn and share.

Thanks for all the warming welcomes.

I am unaware of all of the dutch people being great software designers. Of course i know plenty people who are but that is because i work with them... and then of course most of my friends are.. and.. hmm maybe we are all software designers. Smile

Haven't had any LSD yet, i would like to do it in future.

well because we used a very small pot (since it's only 50g mhrb) it's quite hard to get it out so basically we will try to gather everything in this pot from all pulls and then try to find some good hdpe plastic bottle to do an extra wash in and hopefully that will make it a bit easier to gather in a coffee-filter.

It's also a good thing that we bought 2 different types of nafta. Apparently the "expensive" one was 40-60 nafta so when we warmed it up it started boiling immediately and we lost like 80% or so of it then just let it evaporate completely and did it with the 100-120 kind which worked perfectly...

So now we gather while i prepare for a first trip. I am still pondering if i should buy a vg (which is about half the price + it doesn't take as long to deliver) or the gvg. The problem is that if i'm going for the gvg and at some point (like after 2 times) i find out that maybe dmt isn't for me (which i would find very unlikely) i would have felt like $100 + shipping to europe is quite a lot of money.

Heh, niet alleen als nederlander hier Smile

Anyways, I'd imagine some headshops carrying a non-electric vaporizer for quite a bit less than the VGs. This could be a prefect spot to see if DMT is for you, and if it is you could always buy the GVG at a later point. If you smoke weed/hashish then a VG is just lovely, vapor is much better than smoke! I've also heard of special tryptamine-pipes being sold, though I know nothing about their quality.

Btw which Nafta is the good Nafta? What bottle do I need?

a glass baking tray will make for really smooth scraping, though i use a wide measuring cup and have little trouble getting it all out. razors and playing cards do great, and also x-acto knives for the tough corners, especially in rounded containers.

I thought about that as well before getting my GVG shipped to Europe, but then I realized that I would happily use it to vaporize other herbs if for some reason spice didn't turn out favorably.

Now I'm glad I got it and changa and I are starting a very nice relationship. But again, I think the GVG is a good purchase in any case. That is, if you can spare the hundred dollars (plus a likely extra 30 bucks bite from customs).

i used regular hardware-store nafta (praxis wasbenzine in dutch). I tested it on a blank cd and after about 2 hours it was evaporated and there were no visible traces of anything, which according to the tek should make for a nice clean nafta.

Yeah i reckon a baking tray would be nice if you have more naphtha but we only have < 50ml at every pull because we only used 50g of MHRB. I still have 200g laying around but i want to fully test the 50g first to make sure the quality is what i want it to be before throwing it all in. So for now i need something that is fairly small.

Congratulations for your first extraction. It is a good success - the crystals seem very clean :-) And, of course, welcome to DMT-nexus.

Try LSD! I can think of no better preparation for taking DMT. Its slower nature gives you a chance to develop a language for understanding the experience... This language can be extremely useful in recalling and integrating DMT journeys.

Salvia can produce unpredictable effects, and many report tough journeys. if you have no problem with salvia, you have no cause for Pre-DMT jitters.

Lots of electronic music fans here! You'll find a few threads on the subject. Me: Plaid, Amon Tobin, The Orb, FSOL...

Of course i do.

Unfortunately i have been reluctant to posting any of my music, due to the simple nature that it doesn't take a genius to get my real name by posting links to my music. I have no idea how to properly distribute it amongst you in any other way. I'm terribly sorry...
