Been lurking for ages, figured I should probably register an account. I've been lurking since this past summer, when I first visited to research extraction teks. Had some success with my first STB extraction a few months later, but the yield was low due to muck ups while filtering, and only had enough for a few breakthrough doses. Did a few more extractions, including two tries with FASA, but no real success. Fast forward to two weeks ago, we had our first 80 degree day and I felt called to try again with an STB batch I've had sitting in my closet for months with ~200ml of naptha sitting on the surface the whole time. I pull the naptha and then do 3x 100ml xylene pulls, which is why I'd been saving it (I live in the Mojave Desert and a bowl of xylene can evaporate in less than a day when it's warm). Anyway, success! I ended up with two 1L pyrex bowls, with their bottoms covered in a yellow/red crust of spice.

Since my third trip of this batch, I keep running into these entities that I call the faceless people. They look like regular people, but very generic and there's a motion-blur where their faces should be. They've been... Teaching me things. Mostly how to relax my mind during flight and how to let myself be 'absorbed' by the hyperspace landscape like they do. They stand next to some writhing sculpture or landscape, merge with it, travel around within the writhing patterns, and then reemerge unharmed. Then they try to get me to do it too. To put their message into words, it would be something like "relax. don't worry, it doesn't matter. We're all part of it." Since I first met them, I keep seeing them almost every time I go to hyperspace now, usually toward the beginning of the flight, going about whatever business they have.

Welcome to the forums =] Check out the chat!

Seems to be a common theme to be 'taught' to relax/surrender. Many teaching /entities like to show us how to focus into the present moment and to release into it fully!

Living in the Mojave eh? pretty cool. got yourself a GVG?

No gvg, but I do have a regular vg that was given to me by a friend that I've been using. The glass would be better to actually see the vapor, but that's a purchase for another day. Also, the wood of the vg is nice bcause it doesn't shatter when I forget how my arms work.

Welcome, Kel!

I too was using a regular VG for my journeys, with great results. I just recently changed out to a GVG, and, let's just say I need more time with it to "recalibrate" my expectations and dosages Smile

I have had one experience with being similar to your faceless people. They were holding up plaques of blackness, like a perfectly square hole cut out of the everchanging hyperspacial color around them. Each plaque had writing on it, one or two glyphs made out of blue fire that kept changing, even as I was trying to take a mental picture of them. First one scared the crap out of me, as he sorta snuck up from the bottom of my field of vision.

Glad to have you!
