As most of us know, vaporized DMT journeys can easily seem very random and surprising at times, like you never know where you pop up after you vaporize. However, I believe there might be some techniques to direct the journey. First of all most effective way in my experience is stating your intentions and ask the spice for the experience you wish to have. It works sometimes but not always. Does anyone have any suggestions or methods for directing the nature of the experience?

Pre-charging the mind with desired subject matter. To be effective, this should take a solid month of prep. For earthy experience....spend a month camping. No gadgets, nothing ditital, eath simple food, wear simple clothes, stay dirty. Mythological/ancient experience...spend weeks studying mythology, hanging out with others of similiar interest, surround yourself with artifacts relevent to the chosen mythology. Ect. This works (results will vary!) for any chosen subject: study the subject, think about it, surround youself with relevent objects. We all do this all the time: we always direct the experience in this regard, though subconsciously, accidentally, sometimes clumsily. About the solid month prep for this method...well, if we do this subconsciously all the time then: live the trip you wish to have. I keep opening my eyes lately when in hyperspace--something new for me--and I keep seeing how my phsysical space could be made better. I need do some cleaning and decorating and landscaping bfore I blast off again. "Living the trip you wish to have" means also keeping a stimulating life. Move around, change habbits, new scenery, ect--who wants to have the same type of trip all the time? "Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods." Albert Einstein
I appreciate your perspective.

If you repeat your intention before you dive your proababilty of encountering a solution or topic will appear. Other than that, vaped journeys are VERY random. To me, i usually don't even see images - just moving patterns and focused toughts - energetical healing tough. For this reason long rides on ayahuasca or pharmahuasca are far more helpful. elusive illusion

In my experience that's only on low doses, but everyone's different I guess if you get that on high doses too.

There are ways of exercising your mind in a certain kind of deep level trip. Its like a muscle of some kind. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what to do. Its very natural when it works, you can ebb and flow with the zone and modulate the levels of the hyperspace landscape. When I'm in it I can do it, to describe it is difficult. I suggest next time you breakthrough try pushing at it with you mind see what happens. I have definitely been practicing my disapproval in hyperspace more and more lately. I think more of us should be pushing back at it more. Start with the simple premise to not be a captive observer. And work from there trying different ways of interacting. Yes this is I think one of the most important things after some time of spice exploring, not just giving oneself to the other dimension, but at times also fighting back when things don't go in desired direction, so far I have done it only by telling unpleasant beings off and it works. But I have never thought about using the "mindmuscle" just to move around and attracting things or beings in the journey. I will definately try it. I guess it can be called willpower that's needed for navigation

The only time that ever really worked was once when I asked the spice to give me a 'really just pure psychedelic colors trip' and I got the song I was listening to turned into a 3D hyperspace room i was wooshing through.

The closest I get to actually directing the voyage takes tons of will. A constant forceful insistence for shamanic knowledge/guidance... Sometimes it works and I get a temporary glimpse of amazing things and what I perceive as the golden path, a la Dune mythos. Usually, the beings show up and send totally strange vibes/thoughts/feelings at me. These things make no sense currently. I don't know which is the real way, if either. Most times I just let the concept of peace flow through me and let my inner self and the world merge with me. It takes a LOT of energy to do serious work, and I'm not sure I actually get anything more done when I push hard. Other than a soul-workout. Just more questions than answers. All these posts are on behalf of Stimpy, my yellow bullhead. He is an adventurous fish, and I feel his exploits are worth sharing...so much so, I occasionally forget that HE is the one who does these things. Sometimes I get caught in the moment and write of his experiences in the first person; this is a mistake, for I am an upstanding citizen who never does wrong. Stimpy is the degenerate.

Does anyone have any suggestions or methods for directing the nature of the experience? Letting go of everything you ever thought you were and being completely present and aware of every facet hyperspace could possibly present. Observing its flow for indications. Sometimes intentions are meaningless. Sometimes things like love are a distant human concept. Arbitrary. It seems playful, and testing. I believe when confronted with this, it can be interacted with. Consciousness appears to be infinitely programmable. Hyperspace is a direct interface into this. Ask questions. Move your body. Go with the flow. Experiment and completely submit while subsequently influencing. It is hard to articulate these things, but you can learn them via trial and error, and your own intuition. If someone said there are levels to the DMT experience, I wouldn't argue otherwise. I believe this is an exercise and an effort and if you want to know more about something, prod the reflections in the web of infinite and see what happens and how you react. There are things I always wondered and had to know that were given to me with something I could only describe as the divine grace of the universe embedded in the parameters of consciousness. What an utterly brilliant automatic mechanism. I wish I could explain all of this better, but that's all the finger dancing for now.

A while ago in chat I joked that maybe you can input the command "/help" in hyperspace too, and then it would present you with all the things you could do. But now I've been thinking about it more and maybe there's something actually to it. Like house says, the consciousness is infinitely programmable. So in theory you could manifest pretty much anything, it would just take a huge amount of willpower and training, and you would need to construct some sort of a consciousness interface. I personally haven't had many vaped experiences yet but I'd really like to investigate this more in the future.

I'm a very visually oriented person and my strongest interest is in the DMT visual language, which is mathematically perfect and contains amazing amounts of information. I've managed to save a few mental "snapshots" from the highlights of my better journeys from this past couple years... As I psych myself up-and actually during the smoking process- ill play a sort of montage of these images in my head... I guess that's kind of an invitation for hyperspace to show me more of the same.
The last few times, after putting down the pipe, closing my eyes and watching the visuals start to coalesce from the darkness, I've found myself asking: "OK, I'm ready- please show me something I couldn't normally imagine on my own." I know that's a silly statement- like walking into a symphony and hoping to hear a few notes.
That's as close as I come to stating intentions. Really it's all beyond my control at that point, but I like to think that I can prepare my own mindset so I can be as ready as possible to embrace the experience and get the most out of it.
