Hi all,

Well, it's been some time since my first DMT extraction (using Mimosa hostilis).

I'm now looking a little closer to home. I've had a look at various websites online but have struggled to identify this plant (there are several very close to me, one almost dead). Please se attached. I'm wondering if it's some type of Acacia? The leaves appear to be like Acacia pycnantha and the flowers are similar however the 'peduncles' appear different

Thanks for your help

looks like one definitely, but i cant answer for sure.

this is very informational thread about many acacias:

https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=23472

there are nice photos included and they are indexed on the first page. but in your case youll need to go page by page i guess.
also the creator of that acacia thread will give you more definite answer sooner or later i guess. just check back from time to time Smile

good luck

Nope thats a Eucalypt not an Acacia...

good luck finding a good Acacian candidate though!... whats your area? if you dont mind me asking. or just pm me

look up photos of these trees: Acacia Obtusifolia, Acacia Acuminata, Acacia Floribunda, Acacia Bakerii (marblewood), Acacia longifolia, acacia maidenii and Acacia Mucronata...theres many more that contain DMT though. I would go on Nen's improving Acacia information thread its in the open discussion section. its the goldmine for acacia spice related info on the web

if your in NSW, vic, or QLD then obtusifolia is probably your best bet if you can find it, or the floribunda seems to be getting successful reports and is endemic to many areas in vic and NSW.. they are planted in lots of urban areas and should contain around 0.4% DMT if any at all. I have had no success with floribunda

If your over in WA then Acacia Acuminata, Acacia Acuminata subs. Burkitti and Acacia Neurophylla are your best bet. WA is lucky in that these are easy enough to find

Wonder if they grow in Vancouver BC or not. Up on the mountains maybe?

..is a eucalyptus as bricklaya said..

i would encourage the growing of many acacias Now..they only take a few years to get size up once planted..
unfortunately one species, Acacia obtusifolia, has been seriously damaged in some of it's wild areas by
the greedy..please see ethics discussion in Trying to improve Acacia information page 10..
