lost in an endless sea of joy in misery
the tragedy of loving what slowly leaves
our lives fragile leaves on the tree of time
are the roots all mine?
i wonder what else lay under what we see and what we know
patiently waiting i watch the seeds of truth grow
what is the meaning of this trial of thorns
what is the reason for the inherent scorn
the devil warns the lights too bright
my inner child's nervous fright
the path unknown not shown not walked its in our heads
we waste our lives by living them dead
following false idols in circles we are led
we must think for ourselves instead
without faith the way will never be found
as we are lost the world still spins round
"an never was there an answer... there an answer
not without listening, without seeing"

Did you write this? It seems to explain what I've been feeling and thinking recently to a vey mind-blowing extent, I saved it.
"without faith the way will never be found" this is the only line I could'nt relate to myself, could you help wit that?
"wierd scenes inside the gold mine" Thats Jim Morrison, isn't it from "the end". I feel Jim's poetry was always much more about feeling and visual than concepts or thought, I've read so little but all the ones I have read and heard were like that.
