Gave up working with pens almost a decade ago, been playing around again over the past year. Feeling like I’m starting to be happy with my work again Smile Here’s my last journey:

wow, god dam! I love thisLaughing

seems to have a mayan vibe to it. Im glad you picked the pen back up d*l*bWink

a guy I used to work with used to sit at his desk all day and draw these astounding pictures of distorted palaces, chuches, dome type structures all free hand with a pen. Anyone who has any experiences with psychedelics would feel instantly drawn to these designs, anyway when I enquired further knowledge on his xtra curricular ativities it seemed that plant induced visions were not on the agenda lol so there you go

anyway look forward to seeing more of your stuff and the stories/trips behind the artwork
finest regards

ambi lysergance is a fictional character who in the realms of fantasy indulges in such topics as science, arts and psychoactive plant induced visions

Incredible. Please post more.
“I have realized that the past and future are real illusions, that they exist in the present, which is what there is and all there is.”
-Watts-

"We live together, we act on, and react to, one another; but always and in all circumstances we are by ourselves. The martyrs go hand in hand into the arena; they are crucified alone. Embraced, the lovers desperately try to fuse their insulated ecstasies into a single self-transcendence; in vain. By its very nature every embodied spirit is doomed to suffer and enjoy in solitude. Sensations, feelings, insights, fancies — all these are private and, except through symbols and at second hand, incommunicable. We can pool information about experiences, but never the experiences themselves. From family to nation, every human group is a society of island universes."

Nice!

I like how it's symmetric, yet there are different details on each side.

I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars.

Amazing stuff, if it was in 4d morphing and surrounding me it would be very reminiscent of my early ventures into dmt land.
Black then white are all I see in my infancy.
Red and yellow then came to be,
reaching out to me, lets me see.
There is so much more and it beckons me to look though to these,
infinite possibilities.
As below so above and beyond I imagine,
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Thank you for the nice comments, I actually have a 3/4 finished Nexus-inspired piece somewhere here but I don’t think it will do too well in scanning (it’s black on very dark green, barely visible! Why I decided on that I’m not so sure!). I’ve been doing a little more drawing than usual recently so hopefully I may post something more in the near future.
