I am about to a STB tek on 112g MH. I have been reading some ways to increase yield. I saw that i can add some vinegar and let it sit for 20-30min before adding lye. Would I have to increase the amount of lye im adding because vinegar is an acid?

Also, I do not have glass containers. Would 2L pepsi bottles work? if not i could get the milk jugs?

If you use plastic, you get plasticizers leached into your product, which is carcinogenic. Not exactly the smartest way to perform an extraction. And no you wouldn't have to increase the amount of lye.
