So I am sittin here readin some nexus goodies. And all of a sudden I hear this really loud BAM! and WHINE! SCREAM! I looked out the window and saw nothing. So after putting on my shoes on I took a gander outside, and saw a dog in the middle of the road unable to get up.

I ran out to the road and noticed the driver at the end of the road checking their car for damages. Needless to say I started my car and chased them down, took about a mile and half before they would pull over. She was taken by surprise, half from my screaming about leaving a dying dog in front of my house, and half from having hit the dog.

It took animal control quite awhile to make it to my house. I don't know if the dog is gonna be ok, her hips were pretty messed up and she wasn't a young dog.

I WAS trying to prep myself for a itty bitty dose of DMT before leaving the house to go look at a dirt bike i might buy. Not gonna happen today ha!

I was pretty upset that she was so concerned about her car and not about the dog. She was really young and didnt speak a whole lot of english. She was also extremely scared from the whole ordeal. but ya that was my eventful morning.

My dog was once hit. The driver never even slowed down to look at the damage to their car. Thankfully my dog survived (though he lost an eye). I know it generally isn't from a callousness towards life (the lady in your story sounds like she was more shocked/confused than malicious), but it'd still be nice to see people respond to their actions.

Ya she was freaked out. She was pretty young too so this was probably her first chaotic experience with a car.

It really is f'd up how ignorant some people can be, oh well they'll get what's coming to them sooner or later. I simply believe in cyclical nature of our actions.
You did the right thing...

btw, I'm a cyclist myself, good luck to your new bike shopping. If you are going to buy it from the shop, I would also try to look for slightly or medium used bike if money matters as the price of a bike goes down 30% the moment it's taken out of the shop but you probably know that already. Just a bit bike chatting... Because I love bicycles

I have a feeling it will be put down due to the fact it had bad hips in the first place the owner said.

Tele, sorry for the confusion I meant motorcycle. I ride quads and dirt bikes.
