OK I have a few questions, i have been extracting DMT in the garage, it's been reacting with the sodium hydroxide for three days. My first two pulls yielded what looks like is going to be almost nothing, at the moment it is still sticky thick naptha residue (is this bad? It's taking quite a long time to evaporate the last bit but i used swan lighter fluid which is supposedly very clean.). I have now heard that all the liquid should have been hot when i did a naptha pull but i was wandering if hot liquid was neccassary for the caustic soda and dmt reaction. Also i added the root bark a little earlier than i should have done because the caustic soda had only been reacting for about 5 minutes, would this be a problem?

Yes, pulling with warmer naptha will help immensly.
So glad to see you have overcome them.

I am also wandering if it needs to be warm for the caustic soda/dmt mixture reaction because at the moment it is hovering between -3 and 7 degrees

Considering freezing (0c and below) temperature naptha holds almost 0% DMT...

Try dissolving salt with ice Razz
