I wasnt sure exactly where to post this, hope its ok lol.
This happened about 2 or 3 months ago during a short hospital stay...
Just so you know the circumstances,
I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and at the time I was going through my first round of chemo.
One evening I came down with a slight fever and we were under strict orders that if I got a fever, I was
to head straight in to see the doc lol.
Turns out I had some kind of blood infection. Normally your body easily fights those things off,
but because of the chemo, my immune system pretty much didnt exist. They gave me a couple different
IV antibiotics like Zosyn and Vanco. But they told me if we had waited until morning to come in, I may not
have survived. Crazy shit.
But that first night in the hospital, perhaps somewhat delirious from fever lol, I drifted off into
what reminded me of a Mescaline vision. I wasnt really asleep, but wasnt really awake either.
In the vision, I was flying over a pitch black "planet". The surface was nothing but black,
they sky was black, no stars or anything. As I flew, I could see the slightly curved shape of the horizon
ahead. Then, slowly coming into view along the horizon, I could see these LARGE shapes appearing.
They looked like tall skyscrapers but very brightly colored.
They were various shapes, but they all looked like very tall buildings of varying shapes. No windows,
each one was a different color, like VERY bright and glowing fluorescent colors. The "City" was huge
and covered the entire width of the horizon. As I flew closer, the whole thing seemed SOOO massive and
absolutely the most amazing place I had ever been to.
Im not 100% positive what was really going on here. You can easily argue that the fever alone could cause
visions like that, (my temp never went above 102). But at the time, I was sure that I was dying,
and staring straight at Heaven. It was more than just what I could see, it was an overwhelming feeling
of love, peace, and the presence of greatness. It also seemed very permanent somehow.
The thought of staying there seemed just fine to me, but not yet lol. My youngest son is still in middle
school and Im not ready to leave him on his own yet. So I "willed" myself back and opened my eyes to my
hospital room. It was a pretty overwhelming experience!! Again, Im not for sure what happened, but this
was one of the very few visions Ive had in my life that was life altering. Sorry about the long read lol.
