I wasnt sure exactly where to post this, hope its ok lol.

This happened about 2 or 3 months ago during a short hospital stay...

Just so you know the circumstances,
I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and at the time I was going through my first round of chemo.
One evening I came down with a slight fever and we were under strict orders that if I got a fever, I was
to head straight in to see the doc lol.

Turns out I had some kind of blood infection. Normally your body easily fights those things off,
but because of the chemo, my immune system pretty much didnt exist. They gave me a couple different
IV antibiotics like Zosyn and Vanco. But they told me if we had waited until morning to come in, I may not
have survived. Crazy shit.

But that first night in the hospital, perhaps somewhat delirious from fever lol, I drifted off into
what reminded me of a Mescaline vision. I wasnt really asleep, but wasnt really awake either.

In the vision, I was flying over a pitch black "planet". The surface was nothing but black,
they sky was black, no stars or anything. As I flew, I could see the slightly curved shape of the horizon
ahead. Then, slowly coming into view along the horizon, I could see these LARGE shapes appearing.
They looked like tall skyscrapers but very brightly colored.

They were various shapes, but they all looked like very tall buildings of varying shapes. No windows,
each one was a different color, like VERY bright and glowing fluorescent colors. The "City" was huge
and covered the entire width of the horizon. As I flew closer, the whole thing seemed SOOO massive and
absolutely the most amazing place I had ever been to.

Im not 100% positive what was really going on here. You can easily argue that the fever alone could cause
visions like that, (my temp never went above 102). But at the time, I was sure that I was dying,
and staring straight at Heaven. It was more than just what I could see, it was an overwhelming feeling
of love, peace, and the presence of greatness. It also seemed very permanent somehow.

The thought of staying there seemed just fine to me, but not yet lol. My youngest son is still in middle
school and Im not ready to leave him on his own yet. So I "willed" myself back and opened my eyes to my
hospital room. It was a pretty overwhelming experience!! Again, Im not for sure what happened, but this
was one of the very few visions Ive had in my life that was life altering. Sorry about the long read lol.

Hopefully it wasn't oneWink
It's definately hard to say if it was just the fever or thoughts of death.

You're description of the city coming out of darkness reminds me of the scene in DMT the Spirit Molecule where they have that animated green buildings. OP, if you haven't seen that movie check out at least the beginning part, I think the part I'm talking about is within the first five minutes or so (I tried to find an image but couldn't get one sorry). There is a theory that during the death process an increased amount of DMT might flood the brain at the moment of death, which is thought to cause near death experiences of religious ecstacy.

On a lighter note, I have this recurring dream of walking through a golden city that is incredibly advanced technologically speaking, with flying vehicles and all sorts of neat stuff I can't describe. This dream always ends when I'm walking up to a massive skyscraper that has an emblazened NBC logo on it, and a loud speaker sounds somewhere and says 'all hail supreme empress Oprah!'

Happy Friday! (true story about that dream btw, and I've never even watched Oprah lol)

first let me thank you for that awesome story!! and i think that could of been a NDE or maybe a burst of endogenous dmt from your brain being heated and over stressed. iv seen the city your talking about and felt the love and everything and when i was reborn into my body i cried for almost 15 mins because i was so upset that i had to leave the place that iv been so many times.

my grandmother faught till the very end she died about a year ago and the last thing she did was at 3 am have my aunt come wake me up to sit with her as she passed and she was mumbling about the electric city at the time i thought it was just her not knowing what she was saying but sharing the last moments with her,it was one of the most profound moments of my life. i wish you the best my friend. fight.
please dont take anything i say seriously im extremely irresponsible and i apologize in advance for anything iv said.

@Tek, I have seen DMT spirit molecule, my electric city was similar to that, but multi colored and not see through. I think theirs was green and see through. Just details though lol. I hope your Oprah dream is not prophetic! lol

@mindatlarge1389, Im sorry to hear about your Grandmother. Thats very interesting she talked about "the electric city" though! Im not all that scared of death, I just worry about my kids. But everything will work out the way its supposed to Smile

Thank you everyone for the kind words and sharing your stories too!
