Hello good people of the Nexus

A little info about my earth/body experience are in order I guess...
I'm 38 years old, living in the center of Belgium. I'm a long long time weed smoker, and had a few interesting experiences with shrooms when they were still legal in The Netherlands, some 15 years ago. Then work/slavery started and for many years I had forgotten about all this potential. Til I lost my job in 2008, then both my parents passed away, and I found myself deep in the pit : not wishing to rebel nor to obey to the rules of this horrible society we live in, and alone in the universe (that is, inside).
So back in may last year, I stumbled upon a mushroom growkit from the Netherlands, and from then on, my shamanic path went back on its track, so to speak. I put all my heart and ressources to growing mushrooms, got an account on the Tope which is still my home and got involved in the community. But then you hear of the spice here and there, it starts working its way into your head and one day, you order some MHRB online...

Next step of course was the Nexus with its amazing wiki, but I did my first STB and A/B extractions with my fellow mycofreaks at the tope. Now I have a few breakthrough under my belt, I wanted to start sharing my experiences here and get implied in this friendly community that is DMT-Nexus.

Nice to have you around, and great to hear the extractions worked well for you! Sorry to hear about the difficulties in life, but im glad you're doing good and im sure these things make you stronger somehow.

Are you also considering oral dmt use? For me it's one of the most beneficial ways of taking it...

@oden : funny you say I'm a study guy... Never pictured myself as such, but of course you're right... I tend to be a little anal retensive, as my psychiatrist would say... Oh yeah and I'm ADHD, explaining my compulsory need to understand and learn new things all the time.

@endlessness : thanks for your concern, you're very right, what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger. I'm viewing psychedelics as tools on my shamanic path ; I kind of identify with the "wounded healer" function in society, as I've helped a few people already awaken to themselves thanks to my little teachers

I'm considering every option there is about DMT, but I'm not sure yet about oral use of the precious result of hours of work on extractions... I kind of like the DMT as it is, one of the weirdest entheogens as it's so short acting !
When I'll be ready for oral DMT, it will be with a traditional ayahuasca recipe (b.caapi & p.viridis), and probably even in Brazil as I've lived there in my teens and I kept a deep love for that amazing land, even before I knew of psychedelics/ayahuasca.

Welcome to the Nexus. We all have a different path, and sometimes there may be gaps of many years. It's great that you found your way, or were put back onto the path, although it was under horrible circumstances. Nice to have you aboard.
