i dont think its necessary to swallow the paper...but chew it up really good and suck on it...youll get the majority of the lsd out of the blotter...there will probably also be traces left..but i dont think it would matter all that much
it's a sound

If you have any pills around in capsule form(or empty capsules),you could empty them and put the tabs in there to make them easier to swallow. Some people use this method for mushrooms if they have a hard time swallowing them.

I think most LSD is absorbed in the first minute when its in your mouth, through the mucous membrane and then straight to your veins (and then to the brain and so on). When something is swallowed, it is subjected to first-pass metabolism, the liver will have a go at it and maybe enzymes in the gastrointestinal tract too...

Im not sure how much it would affect the effects of LSD if it was swallowed and not absorbed through the mouth, maybe it would change effects or time of come up or something.

You could keep the multiple blotters in your mouth for some minutes, and if you dont like to swallow it, spit them out, since most should have been absorbed. If you're paranoid about losing any, spit it in a glass and put either a bit of ethanol or water and you can swallow that after if the trip isnt strong enough (gross I guess? But its your own spit... Very happy )

This is not my experience at all, not saying it's not true, but I've experienced it much differently.

I had 2 blotters, same batch. One day I decided the time was right so I took one and sucked on it for 35 minutes, chewed it a bit and then spit it out. My experience was..unsatisfactory, never really had a intense peak just kinda tripping all day, etc.

Took the 2nd one maybe a week later, this time did the same, chewed/sucked for 35 minutes and then swallowed the blotter. The experience was significantly more profound and intense, I even had an out of body experience during the peak.

IMO swallowing it is the best way to ensure that all of the LSD is absorbed, there may be more left in the blotter than you would think.

Extra info: Blotters were 150 mics.

To spit, or to swallow, that is the question.

Ever get to like the eighth hour of an acid trip and be like....hey...swirling your tungue around your mouth....and find a lil bit of smooshed up tiny balled up paper?

I appreciate your perspective.

Unless you are paper phobic, why not swallow it? I agree that you're probably getting most of your active ingredient directly through your mouth capillaries in the first few minutes, but I've personally never spat out a blotter- it just feels like only going 76% of the way. It's a tiny amount of wood pulp, why worry?

i've had this argument with someone before. i spit a tab out after like 10 minutes and he was like "what are you doing?!". it definitely absorbs within the first minute, maybe even less. and even if it hasn't absorbed in that time it's certainly not on the paper anymore. i mean cmon now use your brains. what would be causing it to stick to the paper for any longer? it's going to go into whatever liquid it touches. you could even test it out next time you decide to eat some, hold a tab in your mouth for a minute and then have someone else hold in their mouth. a little gross haha but whatever, i highly doubt they'd feel anything

sky motion, i doubt that swallowing it made any difference. there are many other more likely factors. some hits could have more on them for reasons like being closer to the edge of the sheet (when drying, it dries from the outside edges first and capillary action causes liquid to migrate to the edges) or just a hot spot. your body chemistry could have even just been slightly different, or your recent diet had an effect.
