I've tried spice with haoma two days ago and an experienced more or less the same contact with an indefinite entity and my 'third eye' that I've experienced the first time without harmal. I felt an intense connection between a precise point on my forehead and an entity I couldn't clearly see but could felt.
But this time it was stronger and longer. And I had the time to wonder if what was doing this entity in a intrusive way to me was really good ? My fear emerged because it was very intense and I had no idea what it was doing to me...It could have been good or bad, I had no clue to know this in a way or another.
When I began to think that it could possibly hurt me or my psyche and tried to resist it, the world I was in turned in a defensive and aggressive realm. A bit like the dream character in inception.
When coming back, I was feeling ok and eventually this experience taught me something about my fear and how to handle it, it could be very useful for my future ayahuasca and DMT experience. Now, I really think that the only enemy there was my own fear but I wonder if some of you have encountered entities that where plain evil. That where bad from the beginning, not becoming aggressive because you feared them ? Entity that where doing something undesirable to you and that did not taught you something ?

Yes, I have encountered entities that seem like they have nothing but bad intentions. Quite frequently. I try not to dwell on it and just take the experience for what it is, they can't physically harm me so I am quite content to just think of it as like watching a horror movie... a very intense horror movie where I am the star/victim, lol. Here is a well written account by someone who had a pretty bad experience, I feel a couple of mine have been pretty close to that level of intensity but I don't feel adversely affected by it as Dr Psychonaut was, I still enjoy taking DMT very much and haven't let negative experiences put me off, although my pre-flight anxiety is higher now than it was when I first started. https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/d...aspx?g=posts&t=25335-Я Ξ √ Ω L U T ↑ Ø N-

I have met them several times, sometimes it takes big "f'k off" to tell them off. Altough they seem to come randomly at times, but I think their appearance is connected to one's own thoughts and feelings at the time. I'm glad I meet them rarely. There's nothing worse than trying to be completely peaceful, blasting a pipe, and then meeting a gang of unpleasant jesters and then start telling them off, really ruins a journey.

I have maybe two journeys worth of experience with DMT but much experience with other teachers and I know that fear is the only enemy. The bulk of hermetic texts speak of fear being the hurdle to attaining Light (the goal of the soul). They also speak of the reality that the body, thought, experience, the world, your shoe, all of it is within the mind. If there is anything that poses a threat to you it exists nowhere else. I'm not sure what lesson you learned about your fear, so maybe you're not done learning, but I think you are well on the path. It is fear that we are attempting to defeat in ritually confronting our own deaths through these sacraments we take. Remember this and you will not stray from your goals.

Remember this and you will not stray from your goals. I agree with this. Regardless of whether they are internal or external, being in control of your own fear is what will keep you from harm. Unfortunately, it's not quite as easy as simply wishing it away... spice entities will usually respond to a telling off, but their root lies deeper within somewhere and requires a lot of gumption to tackle, much less conquer. ¤ø¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸„ø¤º¨

It can happen one experiences entities that might seem dark, but of course its up to each one how to deal with and interpret these experiences. Check our health and safety section, there is a part specifically dedicated to dark entities, with some tips how to deal with it and how to integrate the experience. Read it and let us know what you think

I have too have certainly encountered malevolent entities, multiple times. There is a recurring theme in that they communicate to me that we humans have been their slaves since the beginning of human existence. The suggestion is that they are a kind of mind parasite that control us through fear.
When I'm in the depths of the experience this totally overwhelms and I feel hopeless and impotent in the face of it. As I am coming out of it though, it is like part of my psyche splits off from me and starts asking questions, such as: Does this entity reside apart from you or is it a part of you, an archetype that resides in your self-conscious and which you have a choice to acknowledge or deny? This question is so perplexing that, even though the revulsion and fear are still fresh and palpable I immediately desire to journey again to find out. When I do, I encounter an incredibly beautiful and agreeable entity (a guardian), who tells me I have overcome the "gatekeeper" (a concept admittedly introduced to me by a friend who is taking a course in shamanism)and that now I am free to proceed to further knowing. The "gatekeeper" it seems, is a being that tests your commitment in wanting to proceed to the next level of knowing. What followed in the next moments were a flood of spiritual insights that suggested some practical benefits on this plane of existence, resulting in feelings of bliss and connectedness that lasted several hours after the spice wore off.
They weren't incredibly profound realizations but I felt they were truths that were almost echoes of things we always know and that now were now more apparent at a deeper experiential level. One example was, "To master anything, be willing to begin by simply trying. Accept where you begin, and then proceed stepwise in the moment accepting the mystery of the information that you receive and doing your best to learn whatever you need to in order to progress." At the time I was very grateful and felt that this insight could benefit my life and journey in general.
Anyway, all this to say, that I feel the spice seems to be teaching but also that I don't think we should accept anything it shows us passively. Seems the spice is a "looking glass", a tool we've been blessed with to echo the inner aspects of ourselves so we can examine what would otherwise be hidden to us? To see the outer world we need to open our eyes and outer senses, and we have developed tools and machines from matter to extend this means; to open our inner senses we have other means, including, most gratefully, the spice(among other organic tools granted to us by the earth). The most profound suggestion I am left with after these encounters is that we have much more control over what we perceive, both internally and externally, than we realize, and that the spice is a vehicle for realizing this.

Just as some food for thought and perhaps to play devil's advocate, the practice and fear of brujeria in the amazon and the use of virotes (spiritual poison darts) may suggest that malevolent entities may not be so benign we may tell ourselves they are. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
"The Mighty One appears, the horizon shines. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead
"Man fears time, but time fears the Pyramids" - 9th century Arab proverb

Thank you all, those are some inspiring responses. I plan to smoke in a few days and to read this give some confidence. I found the health and safety very helpful, Endlessness. I think I could improve the preparation phase a lot.
