Can I not subscribe to a thread without posting in it? Or otherwise favorite, add reminder, etc.

My Bookmarks on my Browser are filled with over 100 links, It would be much more sufficient to favorite threads here and keep track of them.

Is this possible?

At the top of the thread, there is 'Options' click it and choose one of those options. I hope that helped!
