Greetings to everyone from the Nexus! I am very excited to have found these forums for they are very supportive from what I've been reading.

To start off, I would like to explain why I am here.
Many signs in my life have pointed me in this direction. DMT has always made an appearance to me in the past and I had only started noticing the signs until just recently. I have read many articles on DMT and have become very fascinated with it in terms of it's "connectivity". I recently got a chance to read Rick Strassman's book and watch his documentary. Something about DMT is very different. It gives people very profound insights into what the big picture is about. It all seems to add up to LOVE and EVOLUTION. I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for my "awakening" though. I could read all the DMT studies, or anything else for that matter and still not be able to "SEE".
Late last year, I came close to a near death experience. I won't go too much into detail about what happened but I was very lucky to have been with my friends, one of which was a fire fighter and was able to give me CPR.
The main reason behind this incident was because of my own stupidity and lack of attention to my suffering body. I was very unhappy with my life and since the summer I was constantly starving myself. By the time December came I had lost 45 pounds without the aid of exercise. I noticed my appetite had adjusted and I no longer felt hunger through most of the day. Now completely blind to my problem it was only a matter of time before my health caught up with me.
When I woke up I had no memory of what happened. I didn't know who I was, where, why etc. For a quick moment, "I" did not exist in the terms of my personality. My memories were not there to remind me of myself. Eventually my memory began fading back to me and my friends explained the situation. I could not come to terms with what happened. I was completely in shock. I felt numb. Then, my mind began shouting at me,"You did this to yourself!" "You should have taken better care of your body!" "You only have yourself to blame." "It could have been over!" I was so humiliated. Even my body looked at me with disappointment.
Later I was able to calm down and collect myself. This was my fault. I am the one responsible for treating my body this way. I knew I could never going back to my old ways.

The next day was the day I realized, 2012 had it in for me, I could feel it. I was going to tear down the walls that kept me inside, destroy it all, and laugh at what remained. I was going to take it all back. No more would I let this injustice go on inside me. I am the decider. This body is my tool to perform my will. I won't follow the others.

Now as I'm writing this, I have completely changed around my life. Eating habits are well, 6 days a week exercise, back in touch with my family/friend relationships, and at best, back in touch with myself.
Now that I can "SEE" my life, I feel I am ready to evolve. I want to bring great change to the world and the ones all around me. I want my arms reach to be infinite and take everyone with me. Deep down inside us, we know that we are all one. We are all the same.

I believe these forums are filled with people that have the same views on life as I do and it is why I have come here to join you.

Greetings Brothers & Sisters.

Wow, beautiful!

Thanks for sharing your story, im so glad you were able to overcome your 'close-call' with a positive transformation in your life! I wish you the best on your continuous path to self-development!

So are you planning on trying dmt anytime soon? Are you more interested in the oral method or smoked? I guess you must have been doing a search around the forum but anyways do check out the FAQ and health and safety sections, and the wiki in general.

See you around!

Welcome to the Nexus. Sometimes the worst things that happen in our lives, almost become the best things by default; when we overcome them, and reap the benefits. I'm glad you made changes in your life, and have found your way. I wish you all the best.

Peace

Macre
