Since I can't post in the E Garden yet, being a newbie, I'll take this opportunity to talk about what plants I'm growing.

P. viridis- one plant up 6 more still haven't sprouted. I understand 3-4 months is not unusual for these to sprout.

Yopo (Anadenanthera spp.)- 6 plants up and growing under lights and on heat pads. These things practically jumped out of the soil. The longest took only 5 days!

Acacia simplicifolia- 4 out of 5 seeds sprouted, these too, were amazingly quick.

Banisteriopsis caapi- 5 vines overwintering indoors. These will go in the ground this summer. I'll propagate with cuttings or seeds hopefully! 2-3 weeks to sprout, in spring 2011.

Syrian Rue- several plants in various stages.... 2 are 8 months old. easy to sprout, hard to keep alive. A fast draining soil is essential IMO, though a couple are in pure sand.

I have plenty more to plant this spring, I'll save that for later posts

What are my new peeps growing this year?

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.
