I agree completely. Pharma/aya/changa FTW!
Most of my last pure DMT experiences have been very similar. The very last one been the most terrifying ordeal I have ever been through. Although in retrospect I
have learned a lot from these horrible experiences, I still find the "lessons" taught via the addition of an MAOI are more profound, affect me deeper and leave me with a nice afterglow.

Have to agree with PW and graham here! Pure DMT isn't the best method of ingestion IMO, it is too fast, confusing and hard to gain any real insight from unless harmalas are in the mix. With harmalas, well, I've just died and gone straight to heaven Razz

Yeah orals underrated. Even just the difference between 10x caapi changa and freebase dmt is pretty astounding IME. I hadn't smoked freebase in months until a few days ago and it just was not even close to the headspace i get with changa. It was so much more impersonal and not nearly as insightful or deep and lacked a lot all around

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

While I do like adding harmalas, I typically journey twice a week now, and I'll usually smoke pure DMT on one day and the other day I'll smoke harmine followed by DMT. I suppose I'm on the other side of the fence on this one because while I do love the synergy, there's something about the pure experience that I've grown particularly fond of. I've had six godhead experiences and only one of them was without harmalas, and even though it didn't seem as "macroscopic" as with harmalas (almost like everything's a bit bigger and wider on harmalas), there was something about the purity of the experience that made it special to me.

Now this isn't to point fingers at any posters here as I know it doesn't really apply to you and your arguments, but one of the things that struck me about the Graham Hancock video was that he did only smoke DMT twice. With the sheer variety of experience, that's not very much at all to start making judgments and conclusions that are premature. He finds pure smoked DMT to not be loving or this or that, but some of the warmest, motherly love I've ever felt came from pure smoked DMT on several occasions. I think if you're still saying that "smoked DMT is this (or that)" then it's pretty indicative of haven't having had enough experience with it.

...which one could imagine would add layers of cold impersonality to it

I have gone "in" with the best intentions and very good set and setting and STILL been pinned to the bed while something cold, black and slippery slid through my body, massaged my heart for good measure before leaving..but...it is what it is...Accept what happens and go with the flow...
