so a couple weeks ago i made the mini machine, i used it right after making it and once again last thursday. then a couple days ago i was reading something on here and someone mentioned making the regular machine and that they rinsed it out before using it. so then i was just like fuck i can't believe i forgot to rinse it out. i just looked at it and there's a bunch of glass particles in there. now i'm worried that i inhaled some. it definitely felt like there was something scrathy in my trachea the last couple days but i'm not sure if that's just a sore throat. i'm guessing there really isn't shit that can be done either and i don't have health insurance. also a reminder to rinse the bulb out definitely needs to be added to the wiki for the mini machine

You're going to be fine. Glassblowers inhale small amounts of glass residue all the time- its bad for long- term health but an isolated incident won't cause any lasting damage. You'll probably hack, hawk and spit a bunch over the next few days. Try eating really hot peppers a few times- helps flush out the lungs. And don't stress it- stress prevents healing.

Haha way to go man thats kindof funny. Rest assured you should probably be fine, but if you are truely and devotionally worried just build up a ton of will power, flood your lungs with water, shake it around, and start coughing and maybe hurling everywhere in a good location. That will get rid of alot of things you inhale into your lungs. --------------------------------------------------*Kash's LSA Extraction* * Kash's Mescaline Extraction*------------------------------------------------------ All things I say are complete and utter ramblings of nonsense. Although along those lines hyperventilateing in a steamy shower for an extended time has brought scarry objects out my lungs. Or try a humidifier. But please dont drown yourself unless you have a medical professional on hand waiting to clear your airway (and then smack you upside the head) Earth: Mostly Harmless... Dont Panic!

Lol believe it or not I have actually done this myself to clean out my lungs, it works. It is also very discomforting but only for a short time if you have the will power to do it. Did it after I found out I likely inhaled asbestos D: --------------------------------------------------*Kash's LSA Extraction* * Kash's Mescaline Extraction*------------------------------------------------------ All things I say are complete and utter ramblings of nonsense. Did it after I found out I likely inhaled asbestos D: I honestly don't think you should tell anyone to do such a thing! Extremely dangerous and down right foolish. Water in lungs can kill you. The human body does amazing things and can probably clear it out, if there is anything stuck. Done: THC - LSD - MESC - MDMA - Shrooms - DMT / Want:Hyperspace travel - World Peace Respect, intention, meditation, inhalation, observation, analyzation, respect.

And second that sort of advice is dangerous and should not be given. Black then white are all I see in my infancy. Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me, lets me see. There is so much more and it beckons me to look though to these, infinite possibilities. As below so above and beyond I imagine, drawn outside the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

This wouldn't have worked as asbestos is very fine, around 5 microns, small enough to get lodged in the alveoli of the lungs. Don't worry as asbestos isn't harmful with low acute exposures only chronic exposures will do damage over the long run. Every asbestos fiber will stay in your lungs forever as everyone is exposed its just a matter of how much and how long have you been exposed throughout your life. Oh yeah cigarrette smokers who are exposed present a synergistic effect.
