is it possible to use those for analysis (DMT). Will i see the DMT as a dark spot due to the flurescent plate, or do i still have to spray it to make it visible?

They say: "Fluorescent indicator for UV detection of colourless substances". But is DMT transparent in the UV range or will it block that light?
