Not patterns, but moving swirling white light snaky-wormy things. Only works on bright blue skies, not grey skies either. I dunno. Perhaps it's the color.
Those have nothing to do with psychedelics. They’re called
floaters.

No way, I can see those too. Totally different thing. Floaters are almost like lint on a camera lense: It moves with the fluid in the eye and are usually darker than the background.
The bright, shining, squirming...MOVING things only appear when my gaze is locked. Plus they light up, wiggle like snakes out of a common point. Usually about 5-8 per "blooom". The blooms are spaced so that there are approx 8-15 in the X and Y planes in my field of vision... evenly spaced more or less. Total approx "blooms" runs from about 70-200 at any given time.
They aren't the "sparklies" I get when I do straight leg dead lifts too hard either.
They almost look like these fireworks in a way. Like the following pic without the smaller plumes.
