Hello everyone! This is my first time on this site, hopefully someone can point me into the right direction.

I was recently given a small amount of "DMT" as the guy put it. I've researched DMT in previous years and what he had given me looked nothing like what I thought it should look like. So after more poking around, I came across Changa. Pictures of this mixture look fairly close to what I was given, but now I'm unsure of what my next step should be...

Here are my concerns:

-Is this actually Changa? I don't want to try something that I'm not sure about

-What is the best way to go about "consuming" Changa? I've read alot of different possible ways to smoke it and I'd like to know what you, the community, thinks is the best way for a first-timer.


I'm not on any medications or any other type of drugs or alcohol. I'd like to have a "pure" experience.

Changa is DMT evaporated onto something with harmalas, like caapi leaves... to me that looks like cigarette tobacco.

Only way to know is if you extract/make your own changa. The diagram in my signature has helpful administration tips.

I was under the impression that being given Changa is the right way? I was reading a thread on this site where members were talking about how it shouldn't be sold or bought, which I agree with. I'm not trying to do anything other than get opinions on what I should do in my situation. Sorry if it seems otherwise.

If it helps with identifying the picture I've posted, it came from a very tightly packed bottle. Maybe it was crushed more than normal and looks like tobacco? There are what looks like plant matter in the mix.

No, you are correct - which is why I said fine line. We don't condone sourcing because of exactly why this thread was started - who knows what the heck is in that baggie? Instead, we suggest members research and extract themselves. Many consider this a Right of Passage; others just plain safety. If I were you, I'd flush that baggie and wait until you're smoking something you know.

Ok thanks. I'll consider that. I've wanted to experience DMT for years now but haven't had the means to do so. My judgement might be a little cloudy because of that. I might just have to do it "the right way." I want to experience it, I'll have to put in a little time and effort. Thanks for the input!

If that WERE changa, which it looks like it's not, then it would be a very LARGE amount. Another indicator that it isn't the real deal.

There are many extraction help threads and tek's to get you started, and a wonderful changa subforum here to teach you how to make your own.
