I've only smoked DMT recreational for spiritual reasons. It's been months since I've done it and now there feels like a void. Has anyone else experienced this?

Maybe your work is not done, and it is time to return to the other side.

DMT has taught me that life and experience itself hold all the answers and can heal us. I would suggest heading into nature, the woods, beach, look up at the stars, etc. I would also suggest drinking good water and eating high energy foods with dense nutrition, sunlight also has an incredible ability to heal. My guess is your experiencing the VOID itself, which is where we all currently reside. Keep integrating your daily experiences and see what happens with your feelings and mood.

If after months of healthy living you still feel a need to reintegrate counciously, I believe aaron12321 is spot on with his advice for an aya experience.

This is a very serious condition known as notenoughspiceianitis.. The only cure is to SMoalk MOAR spice... Alright that's just a joke but all kidding aside maybe it is time for you to explore again as others have suggested..

Could your intention be a little skewed as partaking in something recreationally may not be spiritually motivated.
Self reflection for spiritual growth is hard work bringing out the skeletons from the closet and can be far from recreational.
This may be why you feel a void as when you were smoking regularly it was for recreation and as time went by your spiritual growth has increased. Congratulations you have started your integration process if this is so!
When I first started smoking, the experience itself felt like it was just a speck of what this stuff is all about...the afterglow and integration period is where its at for me as the spice really gives you something to ponder.
Good luck and best wishes with your unfinished business and don't worry as I have gone through the same process!

The psychedelic user's journey consists of both the peak experiences and the integration work in between. This is a cycle- it can be different for everyone in terms of how much time is needed for integration, how much work... But once you've digested everything important from past trips, it's time for the next one. Nothing recreational about it- this is a healthy cycle and part of a legitimate learning/growing process.

Totally natural I think. If you once did something that you enjoyed, then you might miss that enjoyment of course.
I can't imagine never again being able to experience spice...it has become an integral important part of my life, so of course I too would feel a void if I went without using it for months! All good things in life in moderation!
Peace

HI,

Why don't you use your mind and turn it on learning from the body itself: PAIN..... Zen, Yoga, Sado/Masochism: It is a perfect complement...

Only the mind shaken by the psychedelics can understand the body as a tool, (little over-general), and this is yet another journey.
