I do play games but currently that is "Sins Of A Solar Empire". I'm hooked to it for over two months now.

I like strategy but also some shooter now and then to release some frustration. Pleased

I love the overall aesthetic of the gameboy (my first system as a child). I love SNES games (esp. Earthbound, Chronotrigger, and FFVI). I love the 2d Castlevania games. All I really play on the computer is Dawn of War. As far as newer systems: Silent Hill, Metal Gear, FFVII, and Shadow of the Colossus. I rarely have time to play games anymore though.

I'd love to play more games but don't have much time and I don't like to play just once in a while. If I play I PLAY!!! Smile And get really hooked and loose control and can't go to work because I don't sleep, just play!! Razz Hehehehe
The last games I played was Battlefield 2 and BF 2142.

And now I want to play Fallout 3. Heard it's awesome.

I used to be an avid gamer, till metal gear solid 2 came out, and it was just a remapped version of part on(almost identical strategies had to be used to beat the game). So I ended up beating it in 2 nine hour sessions...

After that I stopped playing till I found burnout 3, then burnout revenge, and now burnout paradice...

Those are pretty much the only games I love now

I played anything and everything for the longest time when I was younger.

I stopped, and I haven't really figured out why yet.

Grand Theft Auto was probably my favorite game series though. Or anything racing, anything.
So glad to see you have overcome them.

Ive never really been an avid gamer but there has been a few games that got me hooked. Last game I really played was Medal of Honor Allied Assualt. Played for a solid 6 months till my money ran up and I needed work. I got so good I could get top score just by bashing people with the handgun. Rolling eyes
I do still own my dreamcast though. I still think that was the best console. The games were just so cool.
I also bought a PSP and hacked it so I could put xenogears and a bunch of old snes and nes games on it.
I dont have any of the new stuff but my boy does. He just got gta4 but I wasnt impressed as it seems like they havent changed nothing since gta3. (I still like gta2 the best.)
Other then that I didnt really play a game for the 3 or 4 years until I quit my job 4 months ago. Been catching up on the new teks here and reinstalled medal of honor and to my delight see people still play. Very happy
I just hope it doesnt turn me into a hermit again. Razz

I have to admit getting addicted to this game where you can steal cars and get weapons and kill people and stuff. I cannot remember the name.

I never got past the first mission. I was only doing the cheats to get all the weapons, unlimited amm and replenish the life, then I was going out shooting policemen all the time. I mean, all the time, it was so amazing. Then the police would start getting mental and more would come for me and I would get a bazooka and blow them up. Such a bunch of retards! It was amazing, you could piss them off and they would keep coming, they would even bring a helicopter which I could also intercept!

I would do amazing pieces of art. I loved driving many cars at one place for instance, then sit at a distance blowing them up. Or like stabbing all the grannies to death! It was a really spectacular game!

This game would probably be GTA3 or one of the Grand Theft Auto series games.

I recommend you to buy GTA4 and an Xbox 360 to get the latest and greatest graphics/gameplay experience now there's even a 16 player multiplayer online mode via Xbox Live Very happy

Also, an expansion pack is coming out on February 17th for GTA4 a "biker-oriented" storyline, that will only be available to download on Xbox 360.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Nf4zgfVwH4

The storyline of the main game is a bit short though, I have to admit.
