I like my liquor bottle ones, but honestly this looks much better.

Sim Sallah Be - Nice! Now you just have to burn off the poisonous coating off the mesh with a torch lighter then wash and dry. Plus the mesh ball could be sized down to fit in the tube. Then you are set to blast off! Nice work!

I heated the scrub with a hot air gun at 600°C and washed in acetone, the gold plating did not come off.
It is dry cleaner for soldering irons.

Just sucking some hot air trough the device gives no funky taste at all

The golden boy looks good,What's the golden boy made from??..is it possible for a clearer shot, minus the copper gauze??

The main part of The Golden Boy is made out of a old oil lamp inner glas piece, this prevents the flame to be blown out by the wind, so the glas is heat resistant. I put a corck in one end, pinched a hole in the cork and pushed a small glass tube in that.

The 'scrub' is a dry cleaner used when soldering, it is made by a Japanese company named 'Hakko' it may be hard to find one, this one I got for free from a company I was working for.

The 7 windings at the suction tube are for 'Good Luck'

I found my complete lab set up at a local dollar store, including this glass piece, some test tubes, petri dishes, glass spoons and stirring rods, small glass ml-scale and some glass pots for just 10,- eYpo, guess it was my lucky day.

I've managed to get the paint off with some solvent and a sharp blade and gave it a good alcohol polish and I found a nice golden cap in my kitchen... Slight modification of the cork so it will fit snugg both ways in.



And if the police finds it on you, you just state "It is a device for contacting deep space alien life forms" ...you put it on your forehead and go "Beep Beep !"

They'll just think you are nuts.

Studying 'machines' I think I'll try to make one myself. I think size matters. So, not too big, right? So maybe I'll use one of those half liter wine bottles. It won't be too heavy and big.

A half litre wine bottle would be bigger than ideal I think, if possible you want to get yourself one of those little miniature alcohol bottles. I used an aftershave bottle that I had lying around, here's mine..

Edit: if you can find the vinegar glass square bottle with the metal lid, please give it a try!!! You will never burn spice and get the best vapor flow / hits for $1 - $3 (price for bottle)

Here is the Vinegar bottle I have made my Ultimate machine out of at WAL*MART. This is the USA site and can find in your local store. Not sure about canada, but superstore has it for Canada.

So I'm starting to understnad the mechanics of it. Take your steel wool, put it in the neck of the bottle. Drill a hole in the bottom of the bottle, preferabl hennesey whiskey. Take a lighter, and light the neck of the bottle close to the steel wool. But my question is, what side do you put the DMT on? Do you put it on the lid side, or bottom of the bottle side? Also, does any liquor store have that brand of whiskey?

You put the DMT onto the steel wool, then heat the neck of the bottle gently and the DMT will melt into the steel wool... then you can carry it around or whatever and the DMT will remain in the steel wool (I left mine sitting for a few weeks with DMT in the wool and it was still fine when I smoked it). Just smoke it like a hash pipe but trying not to burn the DMT.

Spicysweet - So what you want to do is.

1) find a bottle about 100 - 200ml (can be a bit bigger but not too big) best if it has a longer neck for the wool to hold.
2) use a glass drill bit and drill a hole in the bottom of the glass bottle. Be careful though, because when you are drilling and you start to pop through, then you go just a bit longer but dont drill all the way, maybe 99% of the way. I have had the glass crack 2 times by drilling all the way.
3) thick steel wool or copper. You want thick not thin! Then burn it with a torch lighter outside the house to get the bad coating off (not good to inhale this stuff). You want it RED HOT! Should be black or grey now. Wash the wool.
4) Make a ball / disk of the mesh wool and place in neck of the bottle.
5) load up spice (weighed is best for control but do as you see fit)
6) lightly heat the spice by placing the flame from a distance over top of it (not through the glass as it might draw the spice to the edge of the glass). I cant stress enough. Dont burn or overheat the spice! Just melt lightly
7) smoke spice with torch lighter (lightly from 2-3 inches away)
8 ) try to get all the spice in one hit
9) put down pipe and blast off!!!

Note: the heating the side of the glass seems to work for thin glass and smoking crack. But I am not experienced with spice and heating the glass. I would think it would make it run around all over the glass like the "lightbulb" method.
