More dates! Not as quickly as I'd thought, but at least the West Coast and South will get some attention, and Canada will get a smidgen of it, too. Additionally, there a few more Midwest dates and another oddball show, this one in Montana.

It's highly likely something special will be done with the two Halloween shows in Georgia, so keep an eye on those.

I assume that either Mr. Posford or at the very least his gear will still be here between May 12th and July 19th, since that's sensible, my guess is that dates for the South and West will pop up soon.

Say what you will about an Arkansas show, but Fayetteville is a university town. I'm sure it will be well attended.

Now confirmed for all three days at Rock 'n' Roll resort, with an early show on the 31st before heading down to Philly for an evening at the Electric Factory.

It'll come in time. I'm impressed at the amount of work that Simon's undertaking to do all of these shows, and he's only covered half of the country! I'd think that the western half of the US should start getting some dates soon. I haven't forgotten there are Canadian Shpongle fans! I hope you guys get some shows, too!

I want all the shows to sell very well so that the US can also get a live band show around album release time as the UK undoubtedly will. Additionally, with increased venue size comes increased bills. If these don't at least come reasonably close to selling out, that's not too good for Mr. Posford.

Obviously somebody thinks that Mr. Posford can fill these venues, and I hope for his sake that he does.

I hope he adds some Canadian dates (but not if it means delaying the album )

A Montreal date would make my day! I saw Shpongletron in Burlington, VT, and the full Shpongle band on hallowe'en in NYC, but I tell you, having to go over a border puts a damper on a few things...

Already got my tickets for the NYC show. Really looking forward to seeing what he has in store for us this time. Shpongletron was mind blowing and the two live shows last year were beyond words.

What's the vibe at these concerts? For those who've already attended: have you met new people, made friends etc (not expecting Woodstock '69 here, but still)?

I'm thinking of going, but I'm not that crazy about big, loud crowds in general.

I haven't been to any of his DJ sets before, but I imagine it's not too different from the full concert experience. Previously the crowds seemed rather chatty, though he was performing at more locally known and much smaller venues and the shows were cheaper, making them more likely to be attended by the drinking/chatty type. Now though it might be a little better.

In Oakland last October vibes were amazing! It was a mix of people doing their own thing and doing things in groups. I was one of the loners, but I didn't feel outcast. Feel free to enjoy the show how you like, just don't be surprised that some people will want to enjoy it differently. Case in point, you might want to chill out and be happy as can be just listening, while the person right next to you may be compelled to move about and groove with the music. Either way and those in between are acceptable.

Enjoy the performance how you feel most comfortable. That said, the tickets aren't very expensive and a lot of these venues are going to have bars in close proximity to the floor. Expect some people to show up who don't know who Shpongle, let along Mr. Posford, is, and expect that some of those people are there to drink and make general asses of themselves. Try not to let those clashing vibes get you down!

The site's some days behind what's been setup with festivals. I'd had the Chilicothe one up for a while, but it looks like the LiaB appearance is new. Good news for the West Coast!

So far he's doing multiple days at festivals, but this is the first instance where he certainly can't do all the days for Summer Camp and LiaB both. I wouldn't be surprised if he was only at SC for the 25th and 26th, leaving the 27th and 28th for LiaB. Then there's the whole of June and the beginning of July for WC.
