This is kinda long with a few questions at the end but here it goes....
So I consumed ~60 grams of White Caapi (half of the 120 g brew reduced), brewed as above (I actually did a 5th boil) and 50 mg spcie at 20 min and another at ~ 60 min.
T - 0:00, consumed the caapi brew, didnt taste that bad but there was a lot of sediment that made it rather unpleasant to take back. Perhaps I reduced to much, (60g/50 ml)
T ~ 0:15 the effects of the caapi were quite strong and pleasant. "Wow, this is going to be a nice ride"
T ~ 0:20 I consumed 50 mg of FB spice dissolved in orange juice.
T ~ 0:40 I didn't notice any major effects so, remembering it is good to stimulate digestion I got up out of bed to grab a banana (I had pears and apples near by but figured they would be a little heavy). Upon returning to bed and eating a few bites I felt the purge coming. Thankfully a bucket was handy.
As I was still feeling the caapi quite heavily I waited until T ~ 1:00 to see where I would go, as I was unsure where my journey would bring me after purging relatively early.
At this time (t - 1:00) I still noticed the caapi quite intensely with only slight effects from the spice. I decided to redose, however simply the thought of my caapi brew turned my stomach. Looking at it was even worse haha. So thinking i was at least somewhat still inhibited, as the effects of the caapi were still quite strong (wobbly feeling, sensitivity to light, etc), I took another 50 mg spice dissolved in OJ.
T - 1:00 to t - 230 I had a lot of stomach discomfort and some mild CEV (patterns/fractals and a few important faces to me) and some OEV (changes in perception and some movements though not much).
After this time effects diminished gradually, though the nausea was still present. I again purged at about t ~ 4:00, after eating an apple and a pear (turns out they did sit a little heavy haha).
Overall i think this was a good first experience though I think i need some practice brewing to make the tea more enjoyable.
(Ps Global I couldnt bring myself to smoke any while i was inhibited, I dont think i was quite ready for something that intense, yet..

)
Anyways a few questions
1) Do you think I was still inhibited from the caapi at t 1:00 after purging at t 0:40?
- if so it would seem im a little hard headed as 50 mg spice did not do much (though i wont make this assumption until I have done a few more trials)
2) for those of you who have tried white (trueno) and other kinds of caapi, is white really as physically heavy as they say? (It was the only kind they had at the time I ordered, but now they have yellow and black as well). Should i try another colour of caapi?
3) When simmering your brew what is meant by simmer. Googling it resulted in "just under a boil". What exactly does this mean, should the brew be bubbling? (I asked this question in chat and house replied though it was with a yes, your idea of simmering is correct and i still was not too sure

). If it should be bubbling, how frequent shoudl the bubbles be?
4) When reducing i noticed a sticky film on the side of the pot. Do you guys try and scrape this off back into the tea? I did and I have a feeling this is what gave the caapi tea even more sediment.
5) Any other brew tips or suggestions of any kind would be very welcome!
Thanks in advance for your time/responses
