Hi Everyone. My name is handfullofleaves and I am new to this forum. I would like to take a few moments to introduce myself and let you all know what I am about.
Many years ago I became interested in medicinal herbs and began growing them and using them to calm my mind and explore my spirit. It wasn't long before I became well acquainted with the mystical properties of psilocybin. I used it as frequently as I could, but I was always mindful that it was sacred medicine. To this day I have never taken more than five or six grams because I am still learning what these lower doses have to teach me. I've now been growing cubensis for several years and studying them for roughly twenty. During the course of my investigations, I have come across quite a number of forums similar to this one. I am a member of most of them, and I have learned a lot and contributed whatever I can. I try to be a practitioner of "beginners mind," however, and I tend to listen more that I speak.
A few years ago I began hearing a lot about DMT from friends who were interested in psychedelics. I thought it was some sort of RC at first, and paid little attention. At roughly this same time I developed a keen interest in the peoples who lived in the Americas before the arrival of the conquistadors and other invaders. I did a ton of reading about the Maya and the Inca and the Aztecs. I learned about Ayahuasca, which led to an interest in DMT and a book by Strassman, and eventually, to this forum.
I've been lurking and reading and studying and re-reading and will continue to do so. I am intrigued. I am disturbed. I am curious. I wish to investigate further. I appreciate and respect the attitude of this forum and will make it my own. I applaud the members of this forum for what is being done here, as well as what is being done there (I'm pointing to your head
. I will not do anything that would bring any sort of negativity or negative attention to this forum. I am not interested in getting high. I am not interested in becoming a professional DMT maker. I only want to learn.
