Hi Nexus!

This is my first post here, despite having lurked for a long time (years, I think). First of all I'd like to thank all the people who've helped make this forum what it is. It's been an excellent resource, and a rare source of intelligent discussion online.

Now, for the 'ulterior motive' part. I'm currently in the fourth year of my psychology degree, and I'm looking for people to help me by participating in a simple research project. I've completely tapped out my group of friends, and still need more data. I asked myself where I could possibly find an online community to ask for participants from, who might be interested in this kind of thing and won't intentionally make a mess of my results for a laugh, so naturally I came here first!

It shouldn't take huge amounts of time or effort, and can all be completed online. For those of you who are interested, here's the link:

http://eu-west-1.qprod.n..._SDID=SD_73VjYBeAykQ0bmA

If you follow that link, it'll give you a brief explanation of what the project's about. There's no obligation to participate so feel free to check it out even if you decide not to take part.

I'm looking for as many people to participate as possible, so if you know anyone else who might be interested please feel free to send them a copy of that link.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this!

Adam

Yeah, it is. I'm still surprised all the time by how small the world is!

Thanks a lot for participating by the way, huge help.

Finished. A very interesting questionnaire. I enjoy trying to think about these types of issues. Good luck with the degree Smile

To anyone who is considering doing it and thinks it took me nearly an hour to do it, that's just because I was messing around doing other stuff. Should only take about 15 mins or something and is quite thought provoking.
