Ok, so I noticed that if I maintain my gaze on an object (not aggressively looking, simply observing) while sitting in semi-darkness (during the night, lights closed, room dimly lit by the outside lights), in a couple of seconds that object will fade away, literally, starting from the outside in, so to speak. I've tried this with various objects: a painting, my living room clock, the door, on different nights. I can maintain the focus as long as I want, and then just "will" the object back into existence when I'm done with it - or simply look away.

I had a lot of fun with this, demonstrated me just how fragile reality actually is...anyone else? Smile
The truth...lies within.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I have experienced the same during and after meditative states, but not so much as an everyday, any-day sort of occurrence.

If you enjoy OBEs, you should give it a shot to apply this same principle to your own body, using your third eye as the basis for 'sight'.

Awesome! Smile I would love to make things vannish and also be able to fly with my 3rd eye!
But the one I want most is to bring something back from hyperspace! One of their inventions! Or musical instruments!
