Been awhile since ive done this and everything is going well so far, there was just a few things i was looking to check.

I live in the UK and recently it seems that powedered bark is no longer avalible, dunno if anyone can confirmthis? When ever i done extractions in the past ive alwasys used powdered bark and its worked out well. Now i can get access to a food processor and put the bark in it but this is becoming a bit of a hassle. Ive recently seen techs for STB using shredded bark is this correct? I always thought powder because it had a higher surface area.

The other thing i was looking to check was in regards to the freeze precip. Ive had problems in the past with using too much naphtha and the spice not sticking to the side of the jar. Thats fine i know how to combat that but what i was wondering was can i just use less solvent say about 40ml pull that then freeze it? Will this hold the same amount of DMT as a higher amount which has been reduced? The reason i ask is evap is going to take atleast a week here. Does anyone know how much DMT can be held in 1ml of naphtha?

Not exactly sure on how much 1ml holds but the main reason I see for using more naphtha is that its easier to separate from the bark mush. Also Ive never had a probelem with freeze precip, maybe your freezer isnt very cold? Make sure to not disturb the jar at all while in the freezer. What tek are you using?
