What method and solvent had you been using before in your attempts at extraction? DMT is soluble in iso and acetone, but I don't think it's good for extractions. My guess is that they might pull more alkaloids than you'd want than a solvent like naptha or limo. Going with ayahuasca is your own prerogative. It can be very beneficial and healing, but you'll have the nausea to deal with. The duration of changa can be quite variable depending on how much harmalas are in this mix via the caapi leaf, but you can always take refresher hits any time you feel the need to keep it going for however long you'd like. A single changa experience without redosing would be less than an hour for sure. Because of ayahuasca's purgation and long duration, I'd imagine that it may tend to be a better healer, but honestly, I would refrain from trying to make such generalizations.
