Hi y'all,

I think I've experienced LSD something in the realm of 70/80 times in my life, I'm not sure of the exact number. A large proportion of these experiences were shared with a close friend and long term tripping partner.

I had always been pretty sceptical of the claims that really pure LSD enhances the experience. I mean don't get me wrong it's a nice idea, but my way of thinking was that LSD is such an incredibly potent drug that this shouldn't really make any noticeable difference.

Anywho, recently my friend and I were fortunate enough to experience some GDF 'White on White' LSD, from San Francisco. This is apparently made with white fluff LSD crystal, which after needlepoint is the highest grade of LSD you can get with regards to purity, and purity is further refined via liquid chromatography. The blotters were plain, white and unperforated. I have to say I have the utmost faith that the information I received about this batch was true. We split three tabs between the two of us, which turned out to be a great dose (in the sweet spot zone).

This experience has made me revise my opinion on this completely. Sometimes on LSD, I'm aware of electrical clicking's and whirring in my brain. No biggie, but I am quite happy to have the experience without being made aware of the underlying bioelectrical mechanics within my brain! With this LSD, there was no static or noise in body or brain, just pure experience. The entire experience felt incredibly clean, clear, lucid and crystalline. It was hard to put into words the difference, but it was a really quite tangible, noticeable difference, and both my friend and I felt this strongly. It really felt some people somewhere had put some considerable effort into producing a very high quality product indeed. It was without a doubt the best LSD I have ever experienced. We both also had noticeable afterglows a few days after the experience. Next time it would be interesting to up the dose to see what influence this purity has on the resulting trip. For the both of us, two Avatar tabs each felt quite jarring early on, with a rough come up, felt in the body...really quite different in nature. Set will have been different but setting was effectively the same so I definitely think there is something going on here. I don't actually feel this was entirely a dosage issue, it felt just slightly 'dirty' too. So I think purity issues may be exacerbated at higher dosages.

So yeah, these are just our personal experiences and thoughts on this, but I must say I am surprised to have revised my opinion, I wasn't really expecting to! Smile

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

of course it would, the other epimers have a different receptor binding profile; i.e. more vasocontrictive, centrally inactive

Along these same lines, freshness makes a huge difference.

Hey Mr benzyme...I'm not sure I get your angle here...first you say the purity issue is rubbish, then you state what appear to be quite concise scientific reasons for why purity may well have an influence on the experience... So do we agree or agree to disagree?? Wink

Interesting regarding freshness, hadn't considered that.

my first reply was a contradictory joke, I was being facetious.

from what I've seen, LSA and related compounds will turn amber upon exposure to air.

Step forward into your cave. That's right. You're going deeper into your cave. And you're going to find, your power animal...

Imagine your pain as a white ball of healing light. It moves over your body, healing you. Now keep this going, remember to breathe, and step forward through the backdoor of the room. Where does it lead?
