Mimosa diplotricha is an invasive species found in many parts of the world.
I am very interested in this species and believe that seed of it has been distributed as Mimosa hostilis before...
I can find very little investigation into the alkaloids that may be in this plant.
Can someone in Oz or Hawaii or another topical area take samples of the plants leafs, stems, barks and root bark?

It should not be too hard to locate for those in the right areas. It is said to be all over the pacific islands with the sole exception of Tonga.

This plant is also known under the name Mimosa invisa. It is known to kill sheep that eat it... a good sign that it contains some alkaloids, like mimosine. It should not be ingested by people without further work, but is abundant and may contain tryptamines.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!
