Okay so I'm not very sure what this stuff is, so if anyone can't answer the question it okay. But if you've had similar experiences please inform me. Okay so my friend was making some dmt tea and after he was done he got a gooey black substance that soon hardened to a rock like substance. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

brews always drop out some sediment after sitting for an extended time, especially when in the fridge. I keep it, and throw it in my next brew while cooking to make sure no spice gets wasted.

Thank you for the information! We were so confused as to what it was. Do you know if it is of any use by itself?

Can you take a picture of it? If it really is sediment, I would just toss it. You're generally looking to filter out as much sediment as you can, so it's practically like going backwards to add it to another brew. that you'll only end up filtering, and I would imagine the amount of DMT present in it would be negligible.
