Hello everyone. I first came across this forum today and found a post saying that consuming passionflower with lsd makes the experience very spiritual. Would consuming LSA with passionflower work as well? I'm unable to find much about this plant as I'm stuck using a computer that blocks most of the stuff on Erowid.org and the search function on this site doesn't work for me either for some reason. Can anyone tell me more about Passionflower (Where to buy, how much to consume, what to expect ect.) I know you can buy extracts at whole foods in liquid form. Would this work? Or should I just extract it myself?

to my knowledge, MAOI will potentiate LSA (especially if it does for LSD).
i am not sure which extracts would have high concentrations of MAOI, but i am sure there are some out there for sale, and there is most assuredly a tek for concentrating/extracting the MAOI from passiflora.

if you are looking simply for the effects caused by passion flower, and have no real reason to use that specific plant, there are lots of substitutes that have higher concentrations (most notably peganum harmala and banisteriopsis caapi, even blue p) and are readily available.

however if you have your heart set on passiflora, incarnata (purple passion flower) has the highest amounts iirc.

I take Passion flower daily. It's wonderful for anxiety. It clears my head like magick. Though I haven't used it in high enough doses or in combination with lsd, I would imagine it making a trip much smoother and easier to comprehend. Surely would be great for preflight anxiety.

I have heard that lsa combined with MAOI can cause rough headaches. Don't know how true it is, just a post I read somewere. Passionflower I doubt would be strong enough for that however. When I do dose lsd next ill certainly take some extra passiflora with it.

Sorry,, off topic. What about Blue Lotus? I got that sent in the package with my MHRB. Any use for that blue lotus? Or just good for a bed for spice?

It's either good for a bed of spice, or you can use it to make enhanced leaf by infusing some DMT into it. Sometimes I'll even smoke a joint of blue lotus first, and then hit the pre-loaded GVG with DMT. It tends to make the visuals more vibrant and refined. It's a plant that the Egyptians held in high revere, and it's theorized that they used it for accessing higher states of consciousness (in combination with other consciousness expanding techniques). Nowadays my Egyptian visions have been becoming more abundant, but back when I used to smoke the blue lotus, they were far and few between, and I remember one day I smoked a joint of blue lotus followed by DMT in the GVG, and I became immersed in a scene of intermingling Egyptian deities alongside your more typical abstract DMT entities. Seeing the two juxtaposed and interacting began to raise a lot of questions to which I still don't have many answers Very happy

Global - thanks for the info and sharing your experience. So it does enhance the experience or even the path to which you will travel. Awesome! I am glad my vender included it free with my mhrb order. Plus it smells devine!
Peace

A side note: That's what I love about this place. You ask a question and get not only an answer, but an example of someone's experience. Really sets apart the facts which are dry and no life, to the experience which draws one closer and guides the person to that path to be maybe taken someday. Smile

This sounds like something I want to try. I have horrible anxiety daily. How much should I consume? how do you usually extract it?

It depends in what form you are going to take it. I use a tincture i bought in a pharmacy, but you could use leaves or flowers to make a tea. If you get a tincture, just read the leaflet!
Anyway, passionflower is pretty safe, i think it would be very hard to overdose.
