Earlier in the day I'd stupidly used a solvent based fixative on a wall in my house, my God the smells been intolerable and with minus 18 celsius outside not the best time to ventilate all day long. This prompted me to light up a bowl of Pink Lotus petals-stamens in a little water bong I have, to try an drown out this revolting vapour permeating every room in the house. I stuff a couple of extra screens into the cone, they had some beige crud on them, probaly some unvaped spice I thought, don't want to do DMT tonight, ah, what the hell its so small a quantity and unlikely to work anyway. I light up and start smoking..........

What the fu*k !Boom, I'm propeled to the threshold of a classic DMT breakthrough, That unmistakable body load preceeding the succession of rapidly oscillating complex images. Sphongles "God Particle" has changed from a tune playing into my ears, to a live performance inside my head. A devilish red jester entity starts grooving in sync. to the music, displaying a delicious mixture of humour and malice. Everythings needle-razor sharp this time, very fast moving and rather threatening in fact. I relax and run with it, resisting will only create more fear. The taper to base line is very prolonged and calm. The music is simply outstanding in its clarity.

Well for someone who fanaticaly extolls the virtues of the GVG, this did indeed suprise me. I'm not sure if it was due to some weird synergy between the Pink lotus , the dmt crud and my solvent vapour ridden room. But considering the small quantity of spice and the delivery mechanism used, it had me wondering.
Half hour later I try the same thing with some fresh spice ( less than 15mg) same effect, not a breakthrough but very visual and intense. The screens were spotless after..

Dead simple, Cone screen then one mesh screen, then piece of Lotus petals-stamens, a sandwhich of two mesh screens with a pinch of freebase spice inbetween, then 5-6 Lotus petals-stamens on top. Some water in the little glass bong, then torched.
As good as the GVG in terms of effect, I have to say it.

I would use a bong over one of those things any day.

this happened to me the other day. i smoked a some xtal.. had an unusually weak trip. then 15 minutes later packed a cone of weed... BAM. sub breakthrough

the ganja made it more intense too, not sure i like weed and dmt

how do you do changa from a bong without burning it? do you keep the flame near it but not touching it?

I've only done Changa a couple of times, but I thought that one can ignite it directly and smoke it normally, thats why it's infused into the herb. I like the approach of sandwiching the crystals between herb leaves/ petals and screens. I'll still use my GVG for straight freebase, but using the bong is a viable alternative, even for freebase, as its just the burning herb on top that vaporises the spice underneath, the water cooled smoke has a less fusty flavour to it as well.

yeah you can smoke changa just like smoking weed in a bong it works fine

so you just burn it normally? doesnt it need to be vaped?

Just get a small section glowing and keep inhaling until you clear it.

I've found from a bong it's best to just lick the herbs gently with the flame and then pull slow but hard, so as to draw the heat through the material and get the most out.

I personally think Changa is best in joints with subtle herb mixes and no tobacco / weed.

A VAP-bowl attachment would be good also I imagine.

favorite was to smoke dmt is in a bong sandwitched between your favorite HERB then yeah hit it slow and long trying not to let the flame hit the herb, more of a vapor hit.

I LOVE my changa bong.

I started on a bong in my early spice years. I'd layer parsley and spice and parsley and spice etc and etc. That worked supreme! 18" bong, fill that barrel full of DMT saturated vapor/smoke, exhale then take in alll the vapor in the barrell in one hit. Break through every time 25-30mg.

Now she's all I use for changa.

I love my changa bong!
