Hi can anyone tell swim if this ratio is ok please?
100g powdered 100g lye 2.25l h20.
Also how long before first pull? THANKS VERY MUCH!

Cutting the water in half might be a good idea, otherwise it looks good. 5-15 minutes per pull. Every tool is dangerous when misused. That is no reason not to use tools.

1.5 x 750 mL = 1.13L. A decent yield should be obtained from 2.25L/100g bark, but it may not be completely optimal. What do you mean by bubbles? Is it an emulsion? That's normal, but a sign of excessive mixing or too low pH. Every tool is dangerous when misused. That is no reason not to use tools.

less water would be better. swim is currently doing a 100gmhrb/100lye/1.7l STB and is having great results. with that much water you may have to add a bit more naoh if the layers are having a hard time seperating

15ml x 100g= 1500 plus another half 750= 2250

O wait, you're right. 15mL H2O/1g bark x 100g bark = 1500mL H20. Multiply by 1.5 cuz of powdered bark = 2.25L. I'm retarded. If you haven't added naphtha yet then bubbles shouldn't be a problem. Add naphtha and stir just hard enough that an emulsion doesn't form. Yer doin' fine. Every tool is dangerous when misused. That is no reason not to use tools.
