I failed to breakthrough yet again, although I'm guessing by the alarming spike in my heart rate that something was about to happen but never did. Alas, this latest experience was better than the previous, but it does leave me with some questions. I noticed I can heat up my spice initially and draw a smoother, less harsh smoke that I have no problem inhaling, yet continued heating of the spice yields a thicker harsher smoke that I actually gagged on before I was able to draw it in. I have considered using a water pipe next time, but I'm wondering if I'm not burning something other than spice or that I'm perhaps I'm heating the spice for too long. If I hold my pipe over candle light for 30 sec I will see some smoke form, but perhaps 30 sec longer and I significant amount smoke starts building up, if almost suddenly. Is this what I want to inhale?

Sounds like you are vaping the spice on your fist hit and burning it by the second. Once I get my spice going, I will move my heat source away, while still keeping it close enough to be heating. Remember you don't want to burn it. It wastes spice and makes it very hard to get a good hit.

I've used both a cursed lightbulb and cheap meth pipe.

you cant use a light bulb or a crack pipe it just dose not work with spice, or at least barely works at all. meth boils at a different temp to spice and is an oil when in freebase form. you need a VG if you want to smoke straight spice --> https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=8730

Otherwize what i recommend you do is go bye yourself some acetone from the hardware, get some capi vine or leaf or sum passion flower or mint or lotus or whatever a combination off all of them and make a changa, smoke it in a bong and if you make it around %40 id say you'll break on through...

While it is an incredible tool for spice it is certainly not the only very efficient vaping tool. You can make one for next to no money and a small amount of work collecting parts and making one. Have a look into the Machine or Inspirator.

I like the idea of changa. I suppose that's the route I'll go.
