SWIM just obtained one today. Any suggestion on how to get the best results with spice? and should SWIM avoid smoking weed out of it since he is planning on using it for spice?

yeah you want to designate it as the spice pipe..otherwise you will be getting some spice when you smoke anything out of it..

throw some ash, blue lotus, some sort of herb...SWIM recommends something other than weed though..because it makes it hard to hold the hits in long enough...SWIM uses blue lotus..once you put your spice on top of your herb..SWIM finds it best to melt the spice down into the herb with a lighter before you put the cap back on so that it doesnt move around once its closed...then take a nice long slow hit..also once you get your hit almost done..take away the flame and hit it really hard for about 2 seconds to clear out any dmt..and to cool it down

then hold you hit for about 20 seconds..sometimes you may want to take a second hit after that..but if SWIM does it right..he can blast off on one

some people have reported good luck with the material people use in 'The Machine' to hold the spice with..some sort of steel wool..im not sure what it is..choir boy perhaps..?

never used the machine...because after SWIM found this pipe..he knew it would be the last one he needed for spice

a regular lighter works fine..as long as you make sure the flame goes right down the middle..and you dont let it touch the ceramic filter...just pull it down..so that it gets about halfway to the filter or so...you will figure it out after you use it a few times...but a normal lighter is all you need...remember that DMT does not need to get as hot as THC does..or nicotine..so a blue flame is not needed

SWIM loves his. It takes about 5-10 seconds for the thing to heat up and start vaping properly so SWIM doesn't hold his hit in until after that.

Instead of using leaf as a filler, SWIM went ahead and added about 8 layers of pipe screen, but alternating every layer between large and small mesh for best airflow and surface area. He says the spice melts past the first couple screens but never makes it past the middle before being completely sublimed. SWIM prefers to do this instead of lotus or MJ for a true spicey aroma.

The vectors or w/e they try to sell are only recommended because of their electric ignition system. They sell 'em so idiots don't poison themselves with flint vapors from normal lighters. If you do it right and spark first before inhaling you don't have to worry.

Between Vectors and Bics, there is no difference in flame quality.

which model of VG did you guys get/prefer? It looks like they have the classic, exotic hardwood and the hand carved. I'm going to get one and think I'm leaning towards the exotic hardwood (looks longer).

swim uses copper wire mesh purchased at a head shop. He torches it first with some flame, then runs it under water and then dries the mesh with paper toweling and lets it sit out to dry a bit before use.

swim got the exotic hardwood... loves it.

swim sprinkles his dose on top of the copper, holds a lighter next to it just close enough to melt it onto the wire, then gently caps the pipe per instructions.

swim hits it long and slow and the only thing he really concentrates on is seeing the flame bend down into the pipe, but he doesnt hit it so hard that the flame hits the bottom fillament.

One hit is almost always good enough. Success on his first try with the genie as well, this is a wonderful tool for noobs as well. Cant tell how much spice has been wasted in the past trying to teach noobs how to smoke out of a glass pipe....

SWIM got his VG about a week ago, but is still awaiting a long overdue delivery of root bark. Its so frustrating, he is just dyin to use it. He says it like hes just got his 1st car but is having to wait for a delivery of gas before he can take it for a spin

If DMT were vaped through the VaporGenie, do you think it would foul it up with DMT residue?

If anyone has tried both "The Machine" and the VG, which do you prefer?
