I was browsing the internet and stumbled onto this clip on the Big Think. About whether mankind will destroy itself and how we're transitioning from a type 0 to a type 1 civilization. Type 0 is the world divided up into small regional cultures. A type 1 civilization/culture is global. The internet is a type 1 communication network, music/movies are globally viewed.

We're supposedly at the crucial point in history where we either destroy ourselves or go beyond a point where we can manage ourselves planet wide in harmony with said planet. And he makes an interesting point, perhaps we too are part of a global movement that spreads awareness to the world so that we as humanity realize how we can achieve that. How we can go beyond differences if we begin to understand that it's ok to be different. Anyhow, interesting speech.

As of recent times, i have been doing a lot of reading and writing.I been reading the news, other blogs, Facebook ( not saying that is a good source for anything), and other sources that shall remain unnamed. I have noticed a lot of stress and pain that has spread throughout the world. You can take a look at any News website or network and just see the sadness that is spreading throughout the world. The signs of something big coming is more inanimate then ever. The major damage done by natural disasters, The depressions caused by Big businesses, and the slow shift of the world itself.

It is nothing new to human kind that natural disasters happen. Nothing new to mankind that there is nothing you can do to stop these disasters totally. The only thing you can do is try to prevent the maximum damage. If you were to look throughout history of course one can simply find something major happening every so often. However, if you were to look at the recent years ( Twenty five years or so) and you can clearly see that they are happening more and more as the passing months. The world is changing and its not just a natural cycle as some people would lead you to believe. The simple fact of the matter is that we as a human species have done some damage to this planet. Through our destructive ways we have done such damage that perhaps our species will not endure another fifty years or so. It is our thirst for many things that is driving this planet and our species to total oblivion. Our thirst for economy, thirst for resources, and thirst for power leads us down a rather destructive path. In the beginning of mankind we had a very different lifestyle. We took from the planet and then gave back almost right away. In native tribal traditions when one would kill a animal they would use everything they could out of the kill. Then give the rest back to the planet. ( leaving whatever is left over for the great circle of life) Back then humans would cherish every moment of life as possibly their last. They lived life in a more spiritual way then a technological economic driven way. You see we humans were never designed to be the way we were. I am a firm believer in the universe and the great circle of life ( thanks to the many psychedelic journeys i have encountered in my life) The universe put us on this planet to protect her. To protect the perhaps very rare form of planets in our universe that could spawn life. To put it into prospective think about this. I want you to try to count every single grain of sand on the entire planet. Count those grains of sand in total. Now to put it into prospective, there are more planets in our universe then there are grains of sands at every beach on our planet. With that amount of possible lifeforms, it is safe to assume that maybe 2% of those planets could possibly have the ability to have life on them. Seeing that 98% of them could not possibly spawn life. With this possible rarity you can assume that the universe wants to protect those planets with everything it has. With this sad let us go back to the main point. We were put onto this planet to protect her fully. Somewhere down the line of our species as a whole we lost sight of that protection. We gave into some power or force out there that took us from protectors to destroyers. We went from small tribes to towns, From towns to cities, from cities to mega-cities. ( some could say that New York City is a mega-city seeing as there population is more then a million.) This path that we are leading on can surely destroy this planet and destroy the gift the universe has given us. Anyone with some form of intelligence can tell you that what we are doing now is pretty bad for the planet. These cities pump out huge amounts of carbon dioxide into the air that in turn, hurts the planet. In the past couple years ( let us say ten) you can see the amount of natural disasters rising. Just This year alone we had i believe 7 major disasters. Hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, famine, and drought. These disasters never once happened so often ever in recorded history( which could safely be put around two thousand years or so) Now, you can say that the earth can be on a average cycle that causes these changes. There is some evidence behind it but the evidence pointing towards humans doing is outweighs it greatly. We humans never think about the consequences of our actions. We live life believing ( for the most part) that our actions will do nothing in the long wrong and since the planet has been around for so long that it will endure our damage. No matter how much i wish this was so, it sadly is not. This planet was never designed to deal with this kind of frontal assault. You cannot go a thousand feet without seeing some form of human technology that hurts the planet in someway. I would love for someone to leave a comment and tell me things that are technology based that does not hurt the planet in some way. It is our thirst for technology that drives us to go further and further away from what we were designed to do. We humans lived on planet earth for thousands of years in perfect harmony with the world. We used the greatest technology on this planet to our advantage. Now you are probably going through your mind trying to think of this technology but for most of you reading this blog, will not come up with this answer. The greatest technology on this planet is the planet it self. The planet is the greatest technology because, it has a solution to every problem all around you. For example, there are certain areas now in the U.S.A. that are doing sewer water cleanup. Now instead of using electricity and other machine based technologies, these select companies took the approach on a much more natural level. They are cleaning the water with the use of a series of plants,trees, grass, and bushes. These filtration systems are all natural and clean the water from undrinkable water to drinkable water. It is within this advancement that we should stick with. Use the earths natural resources that can be replenished without harming the planet. Instead of using limited resources till they are completely dry and then figure a way to do it. We have all the technology in the world as of right now to come up with methods and solutions to using unlimited renewable resources. But yet we squabble over the profits of using resources.

IN reality since the beginning of man we have had some form of a barter system. It began with the usage of natural resources such as livestock, certain plants, gold, diamonds, and other jewels. The trading was done not by a big business or a huge corporation but on a personal family to family trade. Where each family decided what was best for their family and/or tribe. This form of trading last many years before moving to more of a monetary system of amassing a vast amount of “money” As of recent years we have been so driven by economy that it rules the world. No where in this planet can you survive without money( in a modern day civilization) Humans go crazy over money. They do things that they normally wouldn’t do for something as simple as a piece of colored paper. We live our entire lives driven for the almighty dollar. People have died over such things. But why? why is a piece of paper so important in this world? why is it that everyone (almost) works day in and day out to collect money for simple things that should be a given right. Such as food, water, shelter, and simple luxuries. This drive has gotten so bad that now less then 1% of the world pretty much controls every thing that goes on in the planet. It leaves the rest of the 99% of the world fighting for survival while they rake in the money. Why can’t we 99% say enough is enough? why is it that we “civilians” and “normal” people have to struggle day in and day out so that these companies and people thrive? Can we not say enough is enough and take a stand for ourselves? I can pose hundreds of questions about this topic. The simple fact is that money is the root of all evil in modern society. If we as a species can get rid of economy and say enough is enough. Go back to the old days of perhaps simple bartering or better yet no bartering at all. Why can’t we all just work for the greater good? The greater good of our species as a whole. Can we not work together? put our differences aside so that every single man, woman, and child has the ability to live a spiritually fulfilling life. Truly think about it. Would you yourself work for no money? Work for the sole purpose that everyone in the world can live a good life? so that our species can reach for the stars? To come to a place where there is no more war over money( better told now and days as Humanitarian efforts) No more of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. No more days where some people in the world starve to death. No more third world countries. Of course many of you will say that this is impossible. That the world will never change and that the world will remain on its destructive path. It is because of your lack of trust in yourself and humanity that the world will remain the same. It is your choice of saying whats the point? the world is never going to change. it is your negative thoughts and feelings on these topics that allow this destruction to continue. If we can all say ok lets do this. let us change the world for the better. Start off small and move to bigger and better things. Imagine a world without money. Truly imagine it now. Imagine a place where you pay for nothing but you only get the real necessary things in life. You and every human on the planet has a home, a bed, things to enjoy life with, and the spirit lifting knowledge to know that because of each and everyone of us our species as a whole is doing amazing. That because, each and everyone of you everyone is allowed to truly live. This lifestyle we are in now is not living. People have lost their souls to the all mighty economy. This world is filled with a sea of zombies doing, going, and acting the way the big businesses and Governments tell us to. It is time to open your eyes and see that it only takes one person. One person to say lets do this. Through that one person it will spread like wildfire. People always say that one man can not chance the world. Maybe they are right. But what if they are wrong? what if it just takes one person to spread the knowledge and take action. Instead of sitting around preaching something that he or she will never practice. Now i know you are probably saying to yourself that i am one of these people. But i am not. I am spreading the word here on my blog and in person. Everyday for me is a struggle to try to get people to live again. To have them open their eyes and see that life right now is heading towards destruction. A everyday battle to win the souls back for so many people out there that are wrapped up in stupid things. It is just not me trying to do this. Big things are coming and they will come fast. When they do come it will shake the world as we know it.

Like i said numerous times throughout this blog that something is wrong with our species. That we changed for the worse. That the planet will and has been fighting back. That the entire world will shift towards something. That one day and one day soon this entire planet will be changed forever. I am not a preacher of 2012 but the signs are there. The world is in chaos and that is a fact. Things are happening worse then ever before. Governments are collapsing. People are getting fed up and are fighting back. We are gearing towards a big change of consciousness that will be coming like a whirlwind. Our species has endured this Hannis crimes long enough. If you were to look around the world slowly but surely people who think like me or have the same ideals are speaking up. They are taking charge of their lives and saying enough is enough. Who made these governments and corporations in charge? since when did money equal God like powers? the planet is gearing toward a big shift and for those who are not ready better start to get ready. You see the Mayan calendar shows the end on December 21st 2012. Now for some people who know nothing they believe that the world will end. That life as we know it will end and thats it for mankind. I and other people who know what the truth is can say that this statement is not true. That the world will not end. our species will endure and we shall carry on. You see the Mayan calender has ended before. Numerous times in fact. But yet every time it ends there is a great leap in mankind. It other endings link up to major changes of consciousness. A new age of man kind is coming. The age where we start to live the way we should have always stayed. Living in perfect harmony and perfect existence with each other. That this surge that is coming will ether break the spirits of many. Or enlighten the spirits of all. That coming soon the 99% of the world will have a battle between the 1%. that the 1% will ether make us or break us. Through their diabolical ways will ether end life as we know it. OR send it to a new age of discovery. I try not to refer to a video game as a source at times. IF you ever played the game SPORE you will know instantly what i am talking about. Right after the age of cities in the game you jump to the space age. This part of the game is where you are allowed to travel throughout the stars and find new life and new planets. I know it is a video game but it is perfect in its assumptions. That we as a species have only one way to go. That is to band together and travel the very depths of the universe and allow for people to travel the depths of their own mind. With this said i feel like i have taken enough of your time for this blog and i truly hope that you read all of it word for word and not just skim. In order for that to work we need to change the consciousness of the people. We need to them to stop putting faith and their entire existence into money and monetary possessions.

I'm glad i read that whole thing. Beautiful message, and I'm always happy to see stuff like that. I make it my priority to try and tell people what this world COULD be like, if we all cared enough to change it. That's all it takes! A will to change!

lol i once considered writing a novel about mankind getting to such a catastrophic stage in their existance, that a group of shamans from iquitos plot an ayahuasca session for the more corrupted of leaders in the world. at a conference that they are all attending, their meals are laced with DMT and MAOI by a south american chef with many shaman connecttions (or he could even be a shaman undercover ) and when they start feeling the medicine a shaman is brought in to mediate their trip and teach them about the spiritual dimensions of mankind which they are neglecting

That's damn right on.

I see humans as an organism.
Organisms behave as such:
- they grow
- they multiply
- they keep growing until either there is no space left to grow or they get killed by a preditor or from lack of food supply.

Humans are no different. Sorry if somewhere this has be repeated, but this is my thought. Humans act like organisms and are taking over the world.
Once the humans are killed by natural causes (preditor, lack of food or self distruction) then the world can start to repair itself.
Humans are like a parasite in a way. Dont get me wrong. There is love and love for life. Humans do wonderful things. But we have lost what it is to be human / animal on this lovely planet and are killing it and eachother.
