I happen to own one of those brain stimulation devices (the Shakti), and working with it is interesting, but deeply strange. Not like a trip, but not like anything else I can think of either.

On second thought, it's like a trip in one way. There is a *powerful* sense of strangeness about the experience, though it's difficult to say why.

And yes, I've tried it in combination with tryptamines, specifically with Ayahuasca. Well, once. The jury's still out on that one. I felt like I was getting into deep water, metaphorically speaking.

The Shakti doesn't have the god helmet settings right? I remember e-mailing the company about this.
