Hello all members. E-MAILS ARE NOW ENCRYPTEDLast Thursday when the forum was offline due to maintenance, a major update was performed on the DMT-Nexus forum: all e-mails of our members are now extremely strongly encrypted via an offsite mechanism. With an offsite mechanism I mean that the e-mail addresses are encrypted and decrypted at another non-affiliated site and not at the DMT-Nexus. I do not have the encryption key and the encryption key is NOT stored on the DMT-Nexus server or even accessible for us. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?The great effect for you all is that even if the DMT-Nexus server is ever grabbed away or God forbid hacked, that it will be extremely hard to impossible to decrypt the e-mail addresses, making the information on the DMT-Nexus server as good as worthless to anyone who gets their hands on it. WHAT ABOUT OUR IP ADDRESSES?All IP addresses were already encrypted via this same offsite mechanism. So here is to you all for an even safer browser experience on the DMT-Nexus.
