Hello everyone, I post very little here but am an avid lurker!
Swim have ground up 30g of HBWR to a fine powder and been deliberating on extraction methods.
Swim would like to perform the extraction with the solvents he already has on hand.
-anhydrous acetone (lab grade)
-naptha
-99% IPA

Swim was thinking of doing a few "washes" of the ground material with the naptha and then extracting with the IPA, evaporating completely to yield a crude residue ready for gelcap ingestion. Does these seem viable? From what Swim has gleaned lurking about it makes sense but would love to verify before going through with it. Suggestions, comments? Thanks for the help in advance!

If I had 30g of HBWR and some naptha and IPA, the procedure you described is just what I would do with it.

Make sure to keep it cool and dark during the process.

That's what I do with mine except I use everclear instead of ipa. When it evaporates you'll be left with a tar like substance. Capping it can be a pain. Instead I would get some 90% dark chocolate(as it counteracts the vasoconstriction) and melt it over your dose. This makes a delightful confection. I used to use that daily for my depression.

Oh yeah make sure you dump the naphtha and evaporate completely before soaking in alcohol. Also if you use a coffee filter rinse that with the alcohol to get some extras that would have been left behind.
